Thank's Adam!
Last one for tonight:

I spent nearly 30 dollars on the Caruburetor cup, only to be told by someone in the race that it is always unofficial. It doesnt even say that on the website, it even says it will help my minimum participation requirements!

:)

and how about a painting thread?

Are you serious...damn. Regardless, why would an unofficial race count towards my MPR? It makes no sense.

Haha decided to do some rookie farming (Nvidia Cup) as we call it on teamspeak and wow.... Me and my mate dragged the SOF up to 2900 and gave the championship leaders MORE points. That was an epic fail and a half.... Should've qualified except boredom in school holidays at 2:00am you tend to make silly decisions.

Lol!! You're crazy! If I was at your license level I'd think twice before entering the Nvidia Cup!! It is a lot of fun and the best racing in the sim, but damn!! That place is full of loonies, psychos and morons!! SR is nice but I think that overall it takes too much from the experience.

Just did a 1 hour 30 minute test session in the FW31. Here's the catch. I did it in all of my real life race gear. undergarments, shoes, gloves, suit, helmet and hans. Never realized how much heat gets dissipated from the wind. I'm sweating up a storm right now lol

So. . I just purchased my 3 22" monitors, with a 6970 video card, my bro works at a computer shop and said that it should be more than sufficient. I just need to make a bracket for the monitors and then I will be racing with you guys. Thanks for all advice a few pages back about fps. I'll post my username up here when I sign up for iracing

Your username is just the name on your credit card.

Did my first Jetta race last night and Mad was there, got absolutely smoked by him! Mad you should be called Mad Speed Madison!! Eventhough I spent most of the race by myself on 2nd had a lot of fun! If it wasn't for the disel engine it would be a great car, put a hard revving 4cyl 2.0 liter engine on that chasis and you have one hell of a touring car!

I was on iRacing for a little bit, then my computer started to do strange things and couldn't handle it anymore.

thx for sharing your setup for the Falcon in the test session, Mad. 👍
works very well for me. down to a low 1.20. really fun this car, first time for me. :)

.... The setup felt garbage. Although it did a 1:19.076 last season so it has pace, maybe I just need to relearn the track to drive it. 👍

My Teammate (Wayne Tolley) was telling me my Road Atlanta setup works well so I'll have a go on that later tonight.

You looking at running the V8 now? Step up from the Jetta and Mustang! :p

Maybe I'll come back to iRacing soon. Last year some leagues had 50% discount codes for 1 year subscriptions. It seems iRacing will give some of those again so I've applied for one.
