It is to the right of the store tab and under the race tab. When you click it it should say something about how iRacing has disabled session ticker, just click on the general tab and you should see the option.

What downforce package are you running?

HighDF. But it´s possible to do it with Medium and maybe high, haven´t tried high.

I took the Silverstone basic - High DF - 56-57% BB - 3rd spring (can´t remember the name but it´s in the front you should change it.) to soft.

43.399 is my Optimal but i can´t wring a whole lap together so PB is 44.8 right now.
The car has loads of potential to go way quicker.

The HPD feels like its on skates to me I played around with the Watkins fixed setup and it felt a little better. Really like the GT. Handles great for me still can't downshift consistently though.

You must race dump trucks a lot then lol.

I have a dumb question. my road SR is 2.68 right now, do I have to wait to get it up to 4.00 to buy a car and track or does it matter and I can just buy my way through???

either way I want to work my way up the right way, but I just wanted to know.

Not really liking the way the Acura drives, it feels like the steering wheel isn't connected and the tyres have no grip.

I also have no braking feel or force in the Ford GT and Acura. :(

I think the update changed the FFB values in the options, I re adjuested mine which improved the feel. Also, try adjusting the power steering on the Acura, I switched down to 1 and it felt more heavy and more connected.

I use 14 ffb and 2 power steering for the Acura using a DFGT feels great.

You can buy cars at any time you want, but you'll only be able to race on those your license allows you to, unless it's an offline practice or a hosted race.

If I were you I'd try to get the SR up to 3.00 before the end of the 13th week in order to upgrade your license.

Got some money coming soon so I hope to join shortly (Maybe next week if possible). I would like to know what is the cheapest offer out there right now for me to return to iRacing.

thank you

is week 13 next week? and when does it end, sunday at midnight?

Monday at Midnight.

EDIT: I have just had two straight 0 Inc races on Charlotte International.

However, the second race was only just incident free. This was a huge crash on the first lap that sent me from 17th to 7th:

I had also experimented with the fuel for the race. I managed to get an estimated 25-30 laps (I cant remember) so I stuck with that thinking it would work. Lap 14 and the bad news bringer struck me. "You only have about 5 laps of fuel left". Keep in mind I had been racing one guy for second place for nearly the whole race. I announced my misfortune to the guy infront of me, I told him that it was a good race but I probably wont finish it. This is when some witty kid came along with an awesome suggestion. "Why don't you clutch in around the corners? If you dont have a clutch just throw it in neutral". I can't believe it didn't occur to me. So thats what I did, I managed to use 4.0l of fuel for 6 laps. However, the final lap was a bit slow :p. Here is what my final lap consisted of:

I had to run it in neutral for the whole lap >.<. I only lost one position too, I came in at 80km/h in 4th place :).

you have a better chance of catching oversteer in f1 2010 than the lmp2 lol... Sometimes I wish I was a race engineer so I could just tune it out.

Great, I can't download paint schemes from tradingpaints.com like I could before. WTF??:indiff:

Hey guys, I've been traveling and wont get to try new content until tomorrow. Since we are all also GT fans, how does the iRacing version of Suzka compare to GT5? Graphics, feel, objects, surface, racing, etc?

When I first got GT5P, which is where I did my first online racing ever, the person I always remember kickin ass on Suzuka was RudiRaser. Made me realize there was some way to go lots faster, even though I could never do it!! :)

IMO the graphics still go to GT5 but the feel of the track to me is better on iRacing, I don't know if it's to do with the NTM but I can definitely feel a positive difference between the two. ;)

I'm having a lot of fun with the street stocks on the Charlotte track. I just don't understand why there are so many wrecks. The track is plenty big and wide enough for these cars.

In one race I was running 2nd and the guy in front of me was weaving and darting back and forth. It was really starting to piss me cause I kept having get out of the throttle and adjusting my line. So with 2 to go I got a run on the outside of turn 2 and guess what? This time I didn't lift and he cut across my nose and into the wall he went. Guy was so pissed, but this could have happened on every lap with the way he was driving.

I really hope the higher up oval series have some more level headed racers.

Overall PD did a great job, but there's some differences. The straight after the 130R seems shorter on the iRacing version and the turn 1 entry seems much tighter on iRacing, other than that I'd say the fisical layout is pretty much the same.
Graphics, GT5 has the edge.
Feel, goes to iRacing by miles!

Since I haven't gotten iRacing yet but I've got the TV on for INDY, who be interested in testing out the accuracy of the NTM with the Cup car? I've managed to pull off some very close lap times in the 49s and 48s in NTG 2011 and GT5 so I want to see what someone on iRacing can do, maybe even beat the pole time as I did.

I'll be racing in the NVIDIA MX-5 races soon, once I'm done watching the continental tire sports car challenge race on SPEED. I love watching these races
