Start from the pits! Get that SR up tonight and get to D before Monday! That way we'll attack the Grand Touring series under the GTP Autosport banner!

Heading into W13 Legends race in T - 19:00 minutes. SOmething tells me this will be disaster. people trying to pass.....

I need a GTP autosport banner, is it on trading paints?

I got a 1sec improvement on LRP. 1.04 yesterday, 1.03 today. I want to get sub 1 minute. I heard <59 seconds is very good. This is Mazda Cup by the way.

Blaze, why you doing Legends one? That will be a SR disaster wouldn't it?

Oh damn. am i an idiot. Doing great then while trying to fumble around and press the button to switch to relative timing....I hit F2....The damn button that shuts off the wireless card.......

How does your F2 (why does your F2) shut off the wireless card?

Putting a macro to shut off wireless on F2 is insane, you would rather some 2 key macro for that like Control + F2. The F keys get used quite a bit..

Dude you need to program those functions into your wheel. Just use 2 buttons to scroll trough all the black boxes.

Well....As usual everyone just wrecks eachother....going fine. Then some moron goes into reverse right into the middle of the track. no way to avoid. Endless repairs....left the race...ridiculous.
and my SR dropped to 2.62.....im going to try again.

This isnt working. Now i just legitimately got disconnected from the internet during the race. I probably run around 50 laps tonight and havent a result to show. And im tired, and hungry, and dont feel like playing anymore lolol. The trials and tribulations of Blaze_409. I cant really do muchabout the internet because its unversity operated. and i cant use ethernet because the port is out of reach of anything...

internet seems quite stable for me. so i dont think its their servers giving you a problem. Are you doing oval? I did a few ghost runs in the legends and I haven't seen any nonsense like you mentioned. If actual races giving you that much prob just run tt's. I checked and you only need 4 tt's + SR 3.0 + to progress.

SR now at 2.81 after a 3rd place finish. CAnt decide how i want to approach this. I need the Sr and it does not matter where you finish, but I want to win soo bad lol. I was so close in the last race. I lead from lap 4 to 14 then coming upon a lapped car that had just gone off track he seemed to want to battle me and the rest is history...I think im going to just cruise these last few races and call it a night. I want to fnish it up here at Okayama where im really good before i get a terrible track.

The memories from the Mazda Cup... Just start from the pits, you'll gain way more SR and iR that way! Oh and Blaze, Rafa is gonna kick Novak's butt tonight!! Vamos Rafa!! Lol!!

SR up to 2.99 now...I think iRacing is just messing with me haha....Im too tired for another race.
Im rooting for the Djoker btw! Lets go Novak! Gonna kick back and then watch the Djoker vs the Majorcan at 3:30 am!

Its gonna be such an epic match. Why are all matches involving the Top 4 guys always epic thrillers? I almost died in the Djokovic Murray match thinking djokovic was going to lose!

I was running the Street Stocks at Charlotte earlier today before it changed tracks. Was in 11th place after leaving the track to avoid wreckage and then bumping the wall and having to pit. 10th place car is two cars ahead, and the car between us is on the lead lap, in like 8th position. Its the #13 car. About five laps to go and I'm gaining on these cars pretty fast. I go to run a low line under #13 and he quickly moves and blocks me and I have to brake. He had just painted a target on himself.

So I fall back a bit and within a lap I'm back up on #13, I creep up to his bumper and give him a tap on the corner exit to shake him up. He backs out of the throttle and bumps the wall. Mission accomplished. :D

I even went on to pass the car that mattered. And then douchebag there comes and slams me after the race is over. Infants.

Same idiots who think its awesome that the drivers are basically allowed to wreck eachother in NASCAR on tv... then freak out when they get tapped in a racing incident online.

To start on the pit I simply don't line myself up on the pits during the 60 window ?

Pretty much yeah, don't click grid. Then after the minute countdown it says missed start, then click the button when it turns green and you'll be placed in your pit stall.

So, after watching probably 18 hours of the 24hrs of Daytona between broadcast coverage and internet streams, I'm really excited for the iRacing driver swaps and endurance races. Really going to be interesting and fun to see how it all works.

Same here! We have a great oportunity here on GTP to create some good teams due to having so many of us scaterred across so many time zones, this is gonna be awesome!

Before they announced driver swaps, I was the most excited about the Lotus 49. But now I'm anticipating driver swaps more than anything else in iRacing now.

I'm not sure what class the Lotus 49 will fall under, possibly class C since the Lotus 79 is in class B.

But it's also very possible due to the difficulty of handing the Lotus 49 without any downforce, it may fall into Class A. It will very likely be one of the most challenging cars to drive fast in iRacing.

yea I agree with your logic there.

Hitting constant 1.02.xxx on lime rock with mazda. optimal is 1.01.xxx.

I think more laps tonight, would love to hit sub 1 and I think I'd be set for the new Rookie series coming up!

Fastest guys are running 57 sec laps, normally in the higher splits fast laps are in the 58-59sec range. Lower splits if you can average a 1:02 or so you'll win.

Geez, those times in actual races or tt's etc?

I think I can gain a few more seconds
1. Still only about 2 hours spent on lime rock..I got plenty more to go
2. I think in the short term with another hour or two I ca get 1.01 or 1.0.xxx (I haven't even really studied any videos on correct gears, brakes etc, been doing what feels natural)
3. Haven't even done a proper set up for the car, doing it on stock.

A few more days until new season so can't wait until my first race on lime rock, going to take it slow!
