I'm running the whole season. Also trying to keep up with the SRF and Skippy, though I've missed the last two weeks. I've never ran a whole season of anything. I'm also neglecting the Late Model, I could use a lot more oval experience before stepping up into anything faster.

Any tips on the Legends car? I just can't seem to figure out how to properly drive it..

The braking zone is always on the straight (you shouldn't need to brake much or at all at short ovals like Lanier and SoBo), don't trail brake unless you have to, be smooth with the throttle (and brake).

Another big one is that it doesn't take much to turn the car. Be very smooth and precise with the wheel, and steer with your feet for fine tuning but there's a Catch 22, the more fine tuning, the slower you go because then you can't get on the throttle quick enough, easy in, hard out.

low fuel doesn't help much, in the back the car only carries 5 gallons, a battery, and an axle and weighs only 1300 pounds (including driver) but that yamaha 1250 puts soooo much weight in the front it's insane. Try taking front brake bias out until the fronts just lock before the rear instead of having a lot of front brake.

AND PRACTICE, it's pretty much an art and it eventually becomes fun when spinning doesn't happen often. In races passes don't happen often because most people freak out when a car is next to them and they spin and there's a big old pileup in T2 or T3.

Hope that helped, and I hope that's pretty close to everyone else's experiences.

Thanks! Really appreciate it. :) How long do referral emails take to come in? I'm still waiting on mine after 3 days.. :p

I would say it looks like your friend entered your email wrong. Maybe give iRacing an email to ask.

They signed up using the Cadillac promo.. That might have something to do with it now that I think about it..

No dice on the Caddy promo Mack. It's a free deal, therefore iRacing won't pay you for the referral. I learned the hard way too. :)

About to try my first Grand-Am race in the Mustang, just going to make up what ground I can and try and not get run over by the Prototypes.. I did a 1:40.5xx in qualifying so a bit off pace, my excuse is I still don't know how to drive the Mustang quite as fast as I want to yet :p Pretty sure I saw you in qualifying Erik, good luck in the race :)

I was in the qualifying Mac ;) I saw jesse mash sign up for the race and as he blink 100 times pr lap and are around my pace, I decided I'm not going to risk it.

Really unhappy with myself right now, was racing the Caddy at Mosport, had a great race going with some quick, consistent lap times and with 5 laps to go, I lose concentration on the back straight for a split second, catch some grass and careen into a wall.. I looked like a total noob and i'm still beating myself up.. On the positive side I ran a killer qualifying lap afterwards..

Stabizisback just did a new slowmo video, V8 Supercars at Zolder, I don't have a link (mobile app) but it's another great video by him, then right below it is a lap at zolder in the mustang by someone else, the track looks great!

Is it on YouTube? Just copy the link (use the email link option if needed) and paste it in a post here. Don't worry about HTML tags.

Those are awesome videos. For those that are on the fence about getting Zolder I would highly recommend doing so. It is a beautiful track and one of the graphically best by iRacing. Also note the high pitch squeal of the tires as they go over the curbs, frickin' awesome track. :) TFP Roush.

Nice track. Will probably buy it.
Any idea why Le Mans is not on the forthcoming list? I think this would be a great addition.

We have to stop talking about Zolder please, I'm trying to wait for the new season content so I can buy in bulk, all these video's and comments are not making it easy

Ha! I'm no longer buying tracks or cars I am completely content.

I doubt tracks like the ring or le man will exist in iracing. Le man due to it being temporary would be very hard to get right with all of the familiar items next to the track only being there during the 24 hours. It's a track that is used only for 1 series of racing. Not what iracing is looking for.

More i'm looking Iracing video, more i want to play it. I've allready bought 2 PS3 , i don't think i will buy 3.
Very nice races , the cockpit view is very drivable ( pilot eyes don't shake over bumps) ,fair people, fast racers.... Physics looks very good too. The only bad point for me specially (I'm totally addicted) is no Nurburgring Nordschleife.
Will try it for sure.

It is! Along with Monza and other great tracks that are still in the licensing process.

As a Nurb rat I can tell you Nothing would make me happier than having it available on iRacing, but I'm ok with that. Ecause Aseto Corsa is gonna take care of it so no need for a PS3 anymore here!

Good luck to everyone running the Belgian GP this weekend. I usually love doing the World Tour events as you often get into splits with drivers very close to the same time. But, I have a race this weekend and have to miss for that reason. A bit disappointed as I will also be missing the Belgian GP in real life.

I'll trade you, I'll race your car for you, and you can participate in the Belgian GP ;)

Hey left. Even no series using it yet do you just race it by yourself ?

Wil, Zolder is ran by 24 fun race yesterday in F1 and MX5, and it's a beautiful track, I can't stop looking at the sky and kept crashing lol. it felt like GT5 or look even better.
I wish there is time change in iRacing. but baby steps... baby steps.

really took a good use of the $100 for $75 credit. zolder is one of it. even if I don't race in them , I drove around with skip and mustang in them for simulation purposes.
