Is it possible to map buttons to a wheel to automatically deselect fuel/tires with one button? Sometimes i get speeding penalties because i have to scroll through and manually deselect things with my DFGT wheel.

I dont think its possible with one button. What I do is uncheck them during the 1 min. countdown at begining of the race. When you exit the pits after the first stop they will be turned back on though.
 
Going to get one more Grand-Am race in, see how I do. This week the track changes to Daytona Road and the races last 80 minutes instead of the usual 50.. Mustang Challenge on my home track of Mosport though, hopefully my first win in the Mustang..

Depending on the car you can map a pit speed limiter, otherwise you can just uncheck at the beginning of the race as mentioned before
 
I had registered for a race with the Skippy on Brands Hatch this afternoon but with 3 minutes for the start I decided to withdraw from it. I just wasn't consistent with it on this track and I've already lost a lot of SR yesterday with the L79 at Road Atlanta.

Went to play BF3 instead. :lol:
 
Going to be in the last Grand Am race in 40 minutes, if anyone is thinking about joining in.

I had some cool races there today, need to calm down a bit. I find myself racing to much. But i blame Iracing for that. :odd:

I will say it can be a pain to do that sometimes but now with use of a mouse makes it a lot easier for me.

It looks like ill go G27 route then because I just want a wheel that works and is smooth. I felt like I have to limit driving with DFGT sometimes because it kicks when FFB cuts in and out.
 
I have the D-pad and the "X" button (if going by the PS button layout) on my G25 for selecting things in race. D pad to move between black boxes and up/down through the choices. X to check/uncheck. Easier to use that than the mouse in most situations.

You know what sucks, i did 5 Grand Am races, 3 wins and got credit for none of them. I currently dont show up in the series points, what gives? I thought for sure on a few of those races we had enough to count.

Really? You sure you don't have the DP highlighted? It shows you 11th overall, 4th in Division 3. My last race sucked, first lap coming out of the bus stop 2 DPs crash and so we're all slowing down, one DP trys to pass me on the grass while another one (involved in the accident) attempts to drive at full speed while the car is "crab-walking". The one on my left forces me right, while the one on my right (crab walker) spins out directly in front of me, then hits me going into the pits..

Oh you're right, i had the DP selected oops. Wow im 4th, hopefully i can download the tracks as i go along and keep up. Ive got Daytona so its on this week!

That sucks about the DP incidents, i personally havent had a problem with one yet but you seem to be getting the raw end of the deal on a few races.
 
I've been lucky to avoid any crashes thus far in the DP, besides ones I've caused/self inflicted. A couple lapped DPs got together in a race today just after the bus stop I guess, and one of them spun to a stop at the beginning of the carousel. It was still surrounded in smoke, I had to slow and try to decide where the car was, I saw the wing on the left so I hugged the curb. Really wasn't far from clipping its nose.

I've never had to yell at so many people to get their broken/out of fuel cars off the racetrack though. Yesterday that one stopped sideways in the bus stop, today one was sitting before the esses. I saw him limping his way down the back stretch on the next lap so I guess he was actually just trying to crawl to the pits.
 
I'm strange, I know, but, I can't help but hope that iRacing goes rallying at some point. I don't care when, but... :drool: They'd make one awesome rally game.
 
Rallying would need another section, otherwise we'll see a lot of people back on Class D licences. :lol:

I think if they ever figure out how to add dirt racing, rally wouldn't be too far behind.
 
Well if we are starting a quick wishlist I'd be up for a full GT1 field and some LMP's before rallying - Only extra cars are needed for that wish so it should be 'easy' :sly:
 
It seems to be i am gonna send my first report. There is a guy i asked to do somethinbg about his internet at the start of previous season. Now i meet him again. He was constantly blinking, He is more invisble then visble and seems to be lagging all over the place. He was playing in the sand when i lapped him, i recieved 4xcar contact. I honestly am not even near him.

Does it seems a bit drastic to report it? I even can't drive near him.

Ill be hopping into the 8pm race as well, ive been looking forward to this track for a long time as it was one of my favorites on GT5. Its quite a bit different though on iracing, especially the bus stop. Anyone else doing Grand Am besides me and Mac?

If your talking about the Grand Am Series then I am running it in a Riley. It's my first season however so I am in division 6, but I am leading it for now. If your talking about that particular race then no I'm not. I'll either race on Friday or Sunday.

Erik (ErikAndre71) is also running the Grand Am Series.

'Tis a very nice track to run though because you have to be on your guard through all the infield.

Just a heads up, I'll only be running on the tracks I have, which is actually most of the tracks Grand-Am runs on :p
