Could anyone recommend the Radical? Is it worth it or not?

I love the Radical and the updated sound is just amazing! The car is a blast to drive but it can be very unforgiving, it will take all of your focus to run at ten tenths, more than almost any other car in the service. Could even be described by me as a lightweight Riley...
Now, be warned participation in the official series suck, you really need to get in the SOF races to get official racing.

Edit: Wow! Played a bit with fog at Spa and at around 75% Fog, 100% humidity and the grip change is dramatic! Not in a way where the car feels on ice but still a big difference, you really need to change your driving to account for the reduction in grip. So far I'm very happy, bring the rain iRacing!!

What do people think of the Lotus?

I've been training around Mosport, and the default setup seems safe but woefully slow and very hand-holding. HEAPS of understeer, very little lift-off oversteer, it seems designed so that people wouldn't kill themselves in the first laps. Which they still will, because the power oversteer is mental. I made it around all of two corners before hitting a wall the first time. And the second time. And the third time. Took me at least fifteen minutes to get back to the start line, let alone a clean flying lap... :p

Ive been running it for a couple hours and loving it. :) It does take a good bit of getting the hang of though. I got myself running 21.5xx so far with the baseline setup. Passing on some of the tighter tracks is gonna be tricky though. Its gonna need to be a cooperative event I believe. :scared:

Congrats SKIDMARX :D

Man I love this car!!! Its the most fun iv ever had doing something I cant do!! :D Absolutley FANTASTIC!!!

Just wait until people crash. :D I got from 28th to 5th at Mosport last night simply by keeping it on the black stuff and pointed forward. Total carnage. :scared:

Hehe, my first lap was quite something. I went from 14th to 2nd and only ended up 2 seconds behind Jason Lovett at the end of the first lap. Had a bit of a battle with him for a few laps then he outbraked himself and I won by 50 or so seconds. I half spun once though in the hairpin which was a pain but traffic just would not or did not know how to give way.

I'll post my first lap video later today or tomorrow sometime.

I hate to complain but this season's Week 13 has been awful so far. :(

I wish they kept the Week 13 Mazda Cup like in previous weeks, I could fall back to that one and still have fun. Fortunately people have been hosting sessions for the Skippy.

We will be having a hosted session tonight, we'll keep you all posted :)

And Matty, were you just in a Lotus 49, 79, and Williams room?
