I don't see any PI sessions on the Hosted section.

Must of just missed Registration, you didn't miss much. Good track though, hopefully i can be competitive in the GT3 & Road Warriors C-spec races there this month.

DP is the best car on the service now. Physics and tire model update. Car is amazing at Road Atlanta. Just finished 2nd and drove my balls off for 50 minutes

I like it, but didn't get the time this week to invest into getting up to acceptable speed. I'm on vacation later in the season, which means I cannot do a complete season. Might still try to run it in a race or two in May.

Does it mean you have a setup dialed in? ;)

@cnd01 and I just finished a grand am race. He won and I got 2nd. This guy named Paul was with us for the first twenty laps. We were all within 1.4 seconds the whole first half. Then Paul spun and I kinda faded

Crazy fun and I haven't driven that hard in awhile

Oh my God that was the most fun I've had on Iracing to date. @polarbear345 and another guy raced nose to tail all out for at least 25 minutes.

Paul was on pole, I started 2nd, and polar was gridded 3rd. On lap 3 Paul makes a mistake and runs just wide coming out of the last turn. I take the lead into turn 1. 5 laps later I just about spin it coming out of the chicane and Paul gets by. We all run within a second and a half of each other for the next 5 laps before I pass Paul again going into turn 1. A few laps later, Paul spins and polar gets by into second. He pushed me for a while keeping within a second and a half for another 3 laps then traffic split us up. Final margin of victory was 6 seconds, but it was an amazing race. We need to put that race on YouTube

Bad luck again. Registered for the 21.00 GMT race, countdown ends but the Join button doesn't turn up. Refreshed the page, Join button appears and I get a 'Could not connect to server' and the page turns unresponsive. Now I can't even log in. So much for my iRating....

edit: maintenance apparently...

That just happened to me aswell chap was gutted as I'm loving iracing

It says 20 minutes to a couple of hours...

In any case, this would have been my last race of the week most probably... Too bad, as I really enjoyed running the HPD on Road America, and we would have had 30 racers on the grid...

Nice I'm only on Mazda mx-5 rookie but can't wait to get out off it back markers holding me up then spin and I and I can't get out off the way 4x frustrating

Keeping your calm during races will quickly get you out of the rookie series :) . I went from Rookie to A in 3 months. I started in November, but I didn't play during December, January and first half of February when I was too busy with GT6 ;)

Same with me not taking any risks and keeping battles to a minimum before i got to A class and now im not that worried about close racing and i dont have to focus on my SR so much. I played GT6 for like 3 weeks before i got bored with it.

I was also registered for that race. Ended up coming in last because of my class/iRating. And i lost 53 more...

Well gonna try and catch the 8pm & 10pm EST GT3 races. Hoping to stay out of trouble.

Watching the Laguna Seca GT race while the service is down, is why I now love GT3! Close in multi-class racing. Went from Rookie to A in about five weeks. Call it fast tracking if you like, but I was just doing what the MPR says I have to, to advance. Advanced by not being a jackass to other racers, unlike all the incidents perpetuated against me...damn no fault.
Starting in the top 10 grid and staying calm, for the most part, keeps you out of a LOT of trouble. I see/hear lots complaining about GT3, it is what it is and seems that by how most of starts and T1-T3 incidents are, where the majority of most wrecks happen, it's almost as if the rear half of the field shouldn't be in GT3 yet?! Like I said "it is what it is"....

How did your race go?

I finished 2nd in the top split. Stayed nice and calm throughout the entire race. Let a few feisty drivers by quite easily and ended up finishing in front of them after they became too aggressive. Similarly I kept the leader within 1.5 seconds so I knew I could catch up. Decided the win wasn't worth throwing away a solid 2nd place finish at the end of the race.

Well I had both my Oval and Road IR's over 2,300... Just got net coded into a spin (net code damage to the front and my engine blew soon after)

Hope I don't lose more than 57 :(

And yeah, I'm almost over GT3 for this season. I don't like that the new car is always quickest. I like Mosport too much to skip it and Bathurst, but I may stick to Star Mazda and DP.

I'm in the same boat. I've lost 200 IR and 2 points of SR off of GT3 this week alone either from being taken out or unable to get good results because the BMW is faster in a straight line. DP is too much fun to not race now, but I'll still do GT3 for the participation money

Anyone have open wheel tips? I'm trying to be good, but I just can not get to the speed of the guys n the same IR range as myself (~2000-2500)

Also, the two world sports car series races I tried today didn't go official. Anyone up for doing the 6:45 pm eastern race tomorrow?

Jav
Damn!! iRacing seriously need to do something about this!! The BMW needs to loose some HP ASAP!!
Yea it's a bit ridiculous, I did a couple of practice sessions, one in the BMW and one in the McLaren, I got into the 1'05's within my first 5 laps driving the BMW, after about 30min trying the McLaren I only managed a low 1'06 with a draft :irked:
I believe this week will be at Mosport (?) I reckon the gap will probably be even bigger there :(

Let's go guys. DP class 6:45 EDT tomorrow

Well, my second race was not quite as successful. Finished 7th after running top 3 the entire race. People have ZERO patience in GT3 still. I am one to sit back behind the leader and not make a move unless it is absolutely necessary. Others just like to go 2 and 3 wide the entire race and waste time... I ended up getting shoved wide in the 2nd to last corner on the last lap and got wrecked. Happens, but the race before that was so scary.

Now onto a Proto & GT HPD race!

So got my second win in rookie this morning with no incidents and no off track and started 8th managed to stay out off trouble:) Do any off you guys no how to qualy for the rookie races cheers
