Yeah I saw you in there too! I'm just frustrated as heck because I'm usually pretty solid at Mosport, but just can not get it like I usually can. Came into that race off a 3rd in proto GT, and wasn't even planning on doing the race until the 9 p/GT race didn't go official.

Just kinda ticked me off that I knew he was going to do it in that turn (he had tried it for a few laps before) and I took a line that made it obvious as heck I was defending, but he just shot it in there. I was on the mic "thanks, knew I needed some wheel damage this race" then he came back with some angry remark and I went and said it was half my fault. To please him, but mostly because I knew it was coming and I broke the golden rule from rookies: let morons go.

But it's happened. Hopefully we make some progress on a GTP split time in a series here soon. Really looking forward to it!
Oh I saw that stupid reply, didn't knew what it was about and thought very little about it, but I thought it was a pretty arrogant reply at the moment, now I know for sure it was!

Anyone just have one of those days, where, you just don't have "it" and you're a second or more off your own pace and just can't seem to get it back...I am.

Bathurst vs. HPD this week: definitely something different from Road America :p

I spent about one and a half hour in practice yesterday, and 3 consecutive laps without getting damaged was my maximum :) . My optimal of 1.56.2 isn't that bad I think. I just need a LOT more practice to make that stick in a race.

Bathurst in the FGT last season was awesome although the track doesnt work very well for multiclass.

has anyone driven the super late model recently? I've been think of buying it along with two short tracks (11.95). Please advise which tracks are the best/ multi series. Thanks!

Possibly cured my fanatec throttle problem for now, thing has its good days and its bad days where it works good or its twitching all over the place, ill be full throttle then it goes down to like 90% then comes back up again. I'd like to try switching the sensors from my clutch but the cable doesnt look long enough.

I had the same problem. Try cleaning the gap in between the bottom of the pedal that meets with the base. That fixes the problem sometimes. If that doesn't work, switch the sensors. The Clutch sensor cable isn't long enough but, it will reach if you just leave the board casing on the bottom separated from the original position it's supposed to be in.

I just took the sensor off and cleaned the pivot bar that the sensor measures and that seemed to make it better although itll probably return in a few days.

Is it just for me, or is iracing web site extra slow lately for others as well? Populating race/quali/TT/practice server list takes forever, and I'm not even talking about accessing statistics.

The 2am race seems to be the cleanest group of people to race with i think, i dodged the first big wreck though and went on to fight against another guy for 6th the whole race, really like Mosport but it is definitely about keeping the pressure on forcing a mistake rather than actually trying to pass.

Survived my first HPD race on Bathurst yesterday :)
I didn't qualify so started somewhere around the 10th spot on the grid. Moved up a couple of places during the first half lap, but then someone spun at the Elbow and I got stuck. I had to wait until the other HPDs had passed to drive alongside the other guy that was stuck behind the spun driver. Unfortunately I accidentally hit him while doing so, getting a 4x but, if any, only very minimal damage. From then on I just kept it easy and still caught a couple of guys before the race ended.

Got 6th in the end, with 5x in total. Not bad I think given the fact that the day before yesterday I couldn't even get the car around the track in one piece :)

can't wait for gt3 at cota next week! I also started my super late model career. That car is epic!
What CotA version are they racing, full GP or the West(?) version that was used in week13 ? ....Really hope it's the short version, started to really like that version during week13.

Its the awful GP version, i dont even know if i can run next week due to the terrible FPS i get at COTA.

Cheers @Silver-Sylph and @richidoo
I think the full GP track should be reserved for F1 and maybe Proto/GT, West version should be for every other series.
Yea I noticed some big FPS hits at CotA, I'm a little reluctant to change graphics settings just to suit one track :indiff:

Hello everyone, I've been getting a weird problem lately:

I've just finished going for about 20 minutes trying to fix the Inverted steering problem, but now I have inverted throttle.

Any way to fix this?

I'm using a Logitech G27 with a Mac OSX laptop.

I don't exactly know, but some generic things that I'd check are; if you have the Logitech profiler from their website, if you have the "reverse gas and brake direction" box checked in iracing sim settings.

Well, tried my first HPD Bathurst race. Made it 5 laps. Let the guy behind me go because he seemed a bit faster and I didn't want to crash from him trying to overtake. He spins and takes me out 2 corners after I let him by... some people.

Just saw that on the replay. Looks like you actually dodged him then netcode struck.

On a happier note, I am 4/5 for wins at bathurst in ford gt. The one I lost was because I couldn't connect until 15 minutes after the race started.
