I did a few online races in GT5 at Suzuka but never quite enjoyed myself as much as running it here. This track just looks so great. It's a very good fit for the Prototype & GT series and very popular.

I am glad I made this video. I've been watching it over & over again and I am noticing some mistakes I've made. I think this will help me improve a lot at this week's track.

Yeah that orange HPD guy was a monster. We fought for several laps til he passed me up in the corner ( but then I passed him again after he messed up). Was a very good race. I'm hoping for some great fights like this at mid ohio.
 
screw it, if you have free time and it is no hassle, can you give me your .rpy file? A 1.40 is just too much awesome. If it is a bother dont worry I'll check skippy forum. I would just like to practice a tad bit more. maybe i can race this track next season....
 
Forgive me for my noobiness, but can replays be directly exported from Iracing or do I have to use a program like Fraps? I have a few saved and I can't do much with them outside Iracing.

You have to use a program like fraps. The replay files in iRacing are just math formula's telling the sim where certain things are at certain points around the track. Absolutely no video encoding at all. Hope that helps :D
 
I haven't been checking for new videos at all, but I know I can always check Stabiz. If you guys see any cool vids or make some yourself, post 'em! This is quite a thread for anyone who might be considering giving iRacing a try....

 
Are those actually in-race saves? Or were you purposely trying to drift? Your steering inputs look more like you were drifting than driving hard.

the hpd was during a quaily session and so were the mustangs shots. have you ever driven the thing? their is a reason no one drives the thing its like driving on ice 24/7.

The Mustang I've only toyed around with, I understand it's very tail happy, but just something looked off about it. I've never had the HPD hold a slide for that long, but if it was getting away from you, I understand, good save. It's just watching the way you were steering, it almost looked like you were trying to keep the rear end out for longer than needed.

Yeah, I managed to overtake him a few laps later after he made a mistake but less than a lap later I missed the braking point of a turn and went a bit off track. He and the other two drivers behind us managed to overtake me there... :p

And all Stabiz's videos are awesome.
 
Can someone send me some replays or post some up I love the looks of Iracing I just haven't gotten the proper equipment to play the game yet

I might make a few videos.
