^I liked the second one. 👍

Here's one I've made with the Lotus 79 using Gerhard Berger's 1986 Benetton livery:

It's tricky at slow speed corners, but very fun and with a nice community.

BTW, nice to see another Brazilian around here. If you feel like adding me on iRacing the name is Felipe Andre.

Ok, I will add you.

This is the new video I made, a kind of a montage with some clips I recorded from iRacing.

Sorry if it isn't very good, it's my first attempt at this kind of videos

That was very cool. You make driving fast look easy. Anymore Lotus races you'd like to share? :dopey:

You havent posted once since Silverstone here

More of the same from Stabiz, cool.

funny thing is I did not realize Stabiz == Frederick (painter at iRacing) til a few weeks ago when he told me. Guy has mad skillz

I'm actually not very fast with the Lotus. Top drivers are usually two seconds per lap quicker than me, they brake much later into the corners than I do. You can see how I early brake into the corkscrew, any later than that and the car would just swerve to the right, don't ask me why.

Someday I'll get a better wheel (using a Logitech MOMO for now) and hopefully I'll be able to drive faster.

About other videos, sorry but I don't think I have any more Lotus replays and I probably won't be racing it this season. But thanks for watching them. :)

Whoa! Fred just outdid himself with this video! Awesome racing by those guys! Pretty damn fast bunch right there too!

Good video S30Zenzow , music was great and all, but here is a few feedback.

I didn't really understand why was there some Legend car in there and a crash.
Secondly,I personally find those kind of movies with such intense music works better when you tell the story of one specific car, in a continuous time. It seemed your movie was, of multiple point of view, and , time was not constant. We could see the end of the race before the middle and so on. So I was also lost there. (I think the focal point was the yellow car? )

Like at 1:43 we see all the cars bunch up together, so probably lap 2 or so, but at :39 we see again from the same point of view, the cars aren't packed at all.

But, those are all feedback, I loved the movie, great point of view, great quality, and music was intense.

Keep doing it !

Thank you very much for the feedback. The legends were there because I thought I didn't have enough nice clips of the Solstice and Miatas and SRF. They were there to fill some gaps. The focal point was the yellow Solstice and the white and green MX-5. And I will follow your tip and make it more constant in my next video. Thank you very much again for your feedback.

So after using FRAPS, what's the best way to shrink down the filesize of an iRacing video to get it online? I recorded two laps of a race at Road America and at around 5 minutes its 3.2GB (and that's 960x600 - half resolution). So many video converting applications out there and many look like a bunch of bull****.

I think that Handbrake usually does a good job. If you want to get one for free that is one i've used for 4 years at least now.

Eric.

+1 for Handbrake. Great to convert videos into iDevice format or for YouTube.

Nice and simple to use.

What I do is put them in Sony Vegas (I think Windows Movie Maker will do) and rander them as AVI. The file size is drastically reduced and you can even mke some cuts and add some effects.

I use Windows Live Movie Maker. Not too many edit options but it has a shortcut to upload videos to YT, which shrinks the file size a lot converting it to .WMV format.

^

I did this one yesterday while qualifying with the Skip. First time I'm running on this configuration of Watkins Glen, it's pretty fun:

Guys is where can I get FRAPS from? The downloader on their site isn't working for me...

not sure if people have watched this but this is Gregger Huttu, the champ, in real cars. A good documentary.
