the fact that they were "snatching" teams from cart was mainly due to cart scruing themselves over with thier high cost cars and engines. irl has better racing and is cheaper for the team owners.
but i might also think it is because cart will become bankrupt in the near future with how they are self promoting races and buying airtime, just look at the stock prices.
i lust love how cart is making fun of irl saying that it costs just as much to run an irl car as it does a cart car but now thier saying that they will be saving up to 50% more money by going to the same configuration as the irl is running.
then earlier this year they say that this wont become a spec engine series, but wait what are they doing next year, their going to run ford cosworth engines only.
its the little things that count like when cart was running at texas speedway i think it was and they were complaning that they were goning too fast so they didnt race. irl was goining just as fast if not 10 mph slower. i think it was because they saw the big wreck at charlotte the night before when the irl was running so they did not race.
