  • Everyone please be patient with everyone.
  • Opening lap, be patient going into turn one. I really do not want people quitting after one lap because of damage.
  • Take it easy, these races will not be won on the opening lap but they could be lost.
  • Two tires must always remain inside the solid white lines. This does not include the curbs.
  • Bump drafting is permitted on all tracks within reasonable circumstances.
  • Driving backwards on the track at any time will result in being asked to leave or a possible series suspension.
  • Contact/rubbing is normal and expected. Please refer to The Golden Rule. Excessive contact will be penalized.
  • Accidents happen, that is why we have cautions.
  • Intentional or payback actions will be penalized.
  • Lapped cars should avoid interfering or competing with lead lap cars.
  • It is the lapped drivers’ responsibility to be aware of traffic coming through. It is also the responsibility of the lead lap car to find a safe way past the lapped car.
  • Be patient with lapped traffic, if possible flash your headlights when approaching lapped traffic.
  • The chat box is not to be used to criticize or berate anyone. It is a distraction to all the other drivers and only to be used for minimal communication.
  • Standard race etiquette will be expected from all drivers.
  • If you caused an accident, allow the car/s to rejoin ahead of you.
  • All cars involved in an incident must rejoin the track safely and only when clear.
  • Heavily damaged vehicles must do their best to stay off the racing line and avoid further contact.
  • Just try to keep it clean and have fun.
  • Penalties for rough driving may include: Point reduction, time penalty, suspension from one or more races.
  • All the rules do affect driver ranking.
  • The IRS Stewards reserve the right to enforce and add to the rules if needed.
  • Practice (30 min): 8:00pm Eastern Time to 8:30pm Eastern Time
  • Qualifying (20 min): 8:30pm Eastern Time to 8:50pm Eastern Time.
  • Pre-Race Announcements: Immediately after Qualifying. Race format/procedure. Caution format/procedure. Pitting Rules. Other important announcements.
  • Race (2.4 Hours): 9:00pm Eastern Time to 11:25pm Eastern Time
  • Race will be held in a Friends Only Lobby hosted by aceboy127, unless otherwise specified.
  • Race will have a formation lap.
  • Qualifying will be held in the race lobby before the race.
  • All qualifying sessions will be a 20 session.
  • Time Limit: 20 Min.
TBD
3 or more cars must make contact in a crash resulting from contact; or adverse racing (weather) conditions in general, with or without an accident.

If all cars are still facing the correct direction and moving forward, this does not necessitate calling a caution. This would be considered incidental contact or a racing incident. But if it seems warranted based on the amount of contact that took place, call a caution. Calling a caution is the responsibility of the drivers involved. All cautions will be reviewed by the stewards. Calling an unwarranted or incorrect caution could result in either a penalty or a post-race disqualification.
To call a caution, you must type the letter "C" into the chat box.

Once the caution is thrown the overall race leader will gently slow down and all cars will group up behind. Any cars behind the incident may pass through. Cars rejoining the track must do so cautiously and blend back in with the field appropriately. After grouping up, all cars trapped between their class leader and the overall race leader (between them in the queue) are to take a wave-by at a specified time (called by actual IRS officials in chat and mic) and catch the back of the line without passing amongst themselves. Drivers that were "punted" on a road course will receive their position back under caution. After this is completed, the pits can be opened for everyone and the race can be restarted after any additional non-pit wave-bys are completed, with the classes separated at the restart by speed.

Upon exiting the pits, drivers will line up single file and prepare for the restart. The leader will initiate the restart in the restart zone. Do Not jump the start. Please respect the position in front of you. You cannot pass before you get to the start finish line. There will be no more cautions with 5 laps to go.
  • Caution speed: 50 Mph
  • Please signify whether you are pitting or not by moving to the white line on the inside of the racing surface.
  • No last-minute fake outs.
  • If you enter pit lane on the backstretch under caution, you are committed to making a pit stop.
  • Pitting is not required.
  • All cars pit on the same lap, including lapped cars.
  • You do not have to have a teammate to participate in this race.
  • Just fill out the form and I will update.
  • No more than 3 drivers per team.

Just a little warning about the no tunning make sure the cars dont hit rev limmiter on long straights. I join a no tuning league for indycars and the two setups you can pick from the car tops out at 173 mph. We were killing the engines of fuji and road america.

Not sure if i did it right i took 9 mercedies gt3 for cup and ford gt for endurance race
The Ford you chose is fine for the 2.4, but for Cup you need to choose one of the available options (check the driver/team signups).

Due to the low number of entries for this event, we will be moving this event to GT Sport. Hope to see everyone that was interested over there. Schedule will likely remain the same. The Le Mans Cup event will be cancelled.

I was just reading through this. Do you plan on running a series in either game any time soon as I'd like to join.
Are you just talking Project Cars or GT Sport as well?
