How can you have a whole line of JGTC, and NASCAR cars, but you forget about other classes like WTCC, DTM, Grand AM, and GT1. Even Formula 1 for that matter the worlds most popular Motorsport, isn't really in this game.
Excellent point.
I don't have gripes about graphics or framerates or premium and standard cars. My main concerns have to do with gameplay.
What I don't understand is why have so many Super GT cars and only have 3 races for the series, with no required pits?
The same with NASCAR. They have a bunch of the cars and only 5 races, with no required pitting. Why is there no cautions? This is one of the most important aspects of NASCAR - Pit strategy. Why did we learn about pitting in the NASCAR challenges if there is no spot for us to implement it in the game?
There is no implementation of F1 whatsoever. You have a couple of cars and a racing series with a pretend car - the FGT.
And why arent there cautions in the endurance races? Endurance races should be a few of the NASCAR races, some SuperGT races, some F1 races, some DTM races, some Grand AM races, etc. The closest we have is the Suzuka 1000 km, but you can use whatever car you like.
Cautions are in all types of motorsports and there are none in GT5. This seems like an important piece of the puzzle if you want to build the best game of its genre.
I enjoy playing it but it doesn't seem like I'll play it over and over due to the game missing some of the basics.
