Interesting. Thanks for the info.Grabbing this paragraph out of context.
The Playstation 2 had that beautiful piece of computing called the Emotion Engine, which if the PS3 had would solve a lot of the problems that GT5 has with AI. Sadly, the Emotion Engine was never included in the Playstation 3 (Which is the main reason GT3 and GT4 can't be played on the old PS3s) and thus AI had to take a hit-technologically speaking, it wouldn't make any sense if it didn't. If GT6 is released onto the PS3 (which I truly believe it will) PD will have to find some way to power their way past that limitation, which will require a lot of system resources and processing power. I'm not saying that the PS3 doesn't have that (I actually have no idea what the PS3 has inside), but it can only do so much. If GT6 is released onto the PS4 (which I doubt it will), we can all hope that the Emotion Engine is installed inside it's obligatory black case.

Kart racing - not meant for GT5. FIA GT and DTM series - meant for GT5. It would make sense. That, I believe was the most glaring inconsistency in the Game - in fact leaving the game out of the Simulator. A-Spec in 3 and 4 were tremendous and could keep one occupied for hours on end. It's almost as if Kaz and his Crew were concentrating on the realism that the software provided and left the game-strategy/competitiveness development for the last and then almost seemed to have never got around to completing it, or left out large chunks that would have made what is presently in the Game in A-Spec make more sense. I have my suspicions that 6 will bring back the one-make and manufacturer events. Hopefully. Developing successful Online (which itself means dependence on the Internet - something beyond their control) at the same time throws a spanner into the works.
