I was with you up to this point.... but now you're basically bashing somebody who's making intelligent use of choke points in a shooter. I just don't agree that that is in any way wrong.
Sorry, I have missed a few details in my example.
I agree that ''camping'' a choke point so you can protect the objective or kill someone you know will pass through the chokepoint soon is not noobish.
Also, a good camper will move if his help is required somewhere else.
An example would be camping a doorway leading to a bomb you just planted.
The thing that is noobish though is what I would call unproductive camping. Unproductive camping could be described as any form of camping where the goal is not to help the team win but instead to simply boost one's KDR.
He will not care if the ennemies are planting/defusing the bomb, capturing an objective, etc. He will just wait until someone passes by.
An example would be someone who is in the attacking team in a match with bombs to plant and only one life like SnD in Cod or the De gamemode in CS and who would stay in his spawn waiting for the ennemy to try and find him so he can kill them.
