ZuppluNo i use them, what ya gonna do about it? Although i dont plan to drive online until i learn to drive with them off.
KingSakery@mrkevans:
Did you compete in the Academy GTR Seasonal TT ??
Oh you didn´t because SRF was forced to ON.
Dan_Holland (or so won it with an epic Time) and he usually drives without "THE" Aid at the WRS-Events here (and he was/ is epic fast).
=> you see he´s fast without and with aids
=> Try Pagey´s Time/Setup and then you can say: Oh your a noob or mang that Time is tough.
Just try to set any Time around 24H-Nürb in the FGT.
(It´s tough now to do because RS´s only last 1 or 2 Laps around 24H)
Other thing:
Beat my Time around Indy Road (only ABS=1, Track real, Tire wear on, RS) 1:09.3xx in the FGT (I think that will be easy but it´s a challenge).
I set it pre Tire-wear change and after=> it´s compareable.
SRF is ment to be for the beginners, but you still have to fully use the grip it provides.
mrkevansWhat part of this are you struggling with, aids are for beginners and should only realy be used by such people.
Haha, I don't need to prove anything, unlike the guy using beginner aids. It's fact that they are ment for novice drivers so why then is he using them? That's the point am making, I win or finish in the top 3 of 99% of online races without novice aids that make you 3 seconds a lap faster, I hope to maybe catch you online sometime but then again I don't run in Srf rooms as they are full of idiots and rammers. Maybe one day you will both turn off your aids and race properly, its like claiming to be an Olympic swimmer but then go out using inflatable arm bands! It's fact the aids are for beginners FACT!
mrkevansIf you were any good you would not need them? Simple
You will be faster with SRF on (at least with quick cars) than someone without but assuming all drivers in a room choose the same option then there is no advantage and it comes down to skill within the set parameters.
mrkevansif you were any good you would not need them? Simple
Corpsey
Isn't driving fast cars with SRF on somewhat asinine in nature? :\ It would be like playing an RPG and setting everything to have +20% everything on everything... okay so now nothing has changed
To mrkevans, I have just completed a lap around nurburgring nordschliefe in a pagani Zonda R with no aids apart from ABS, my time 6.06.5. The lap record for a Zonda R is 6.47. Grip on real, it was online, tyre wear was off mainly because on racing softs I got to the carousel and I was on 20% grip. The Zonda was as I bought it from the garage, no tune, just some racing softs and a high RPM turbo. Which explains the 40 seconds difference with the lap record.
If you are still unable to believe me I can provide video evidence once I work out how![]()
