At first glance I know this question sounds foolish. I mean, no steering wheel, no car interior....maybe you feel disconnected from the car. Some cars are fine. I actually prefer interior view in most vehicles. But then I drive a more purebred race car and the view is not so good from inside. For one, probably 1/2 the screen or more is taken up by the interior stuff. And the windows seem a bit less see-through (although maybe that’s my imagination). And I know the argument - it gives a more realistic feel. Well....it certainly gives a more realistic look. My counter argument would be for the front bumper cam. When you’re actually driving a car - and I can’t speak for actual race cars - you see a lot more than something the size of half your TV. We have peripheral vision - something that can’t come close to being replicated unless you have a 3 monitor set up. And being on the front bumper gives you that more free viewing sensation - something I think is more akin to actually driving. Am I completely out to lunch here? Anyone else agree with me? I’m curious. And I’m going to make a poll - I know they’ve been done before, but polls are fun
