Where did I say I was? I said racing drivers find their own braking points and so do I.
Real drivers have a multitude of advantages, like peripheral vision, depth perception, g-force. We have a flat t.v. and a vibrating wheel.

Forza does better in terms of driving lines. GT seems to be static while Forza's seems to read your driving, and changes depending on your speed. GT seems to be simply stamped on the road.
Most corners (especially dirt/snow tracks) can be taken at 1 gear higher than it says. Its just really hard not to use the gear it says![]()
I noticed this too. If you watch examples of gold medal license tests the driver is usually a gear higher than the suggested gear. I guess its like the racing line, only a basic indicator of what you should do, not an ideal
You are a real racing driver? I doubt it.If one doesn't have every blind corner memorized, it can be a good 2nd line of defense.
It was, until I turned the HUD off. Much better without the HUD on, your driving will improve and it's way more immersive!
Customizable HUD... That's what we ALL need.
Pick what you want, nix the rest.
I'd like an option to remove only that and not the entire HUD.
There's a great feature that has been missed from the game (or any other, I believe)... How about taking your BEST lap, and using THAT to generate driving line and gear indicators? The telemetry is all there.
