Is there anyway to set the Marketplace subforum to ignore?

See thread title. Good lord. I don't care that half the forum has or needs whatever color X1.

Seriously, when I hit "New Posts" easily more than half the threads are Marketplace threads.

For everybody's information:

You can exclude any forums from the New Posts search results by inserting "&exclude=X", where X is the forum ID number, on the end of the search URL and then bookmarking this link. For example, the default "New Posts" search link looks like this:

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/search.php?do=getnew
​

A "New Posts" search link which excludes the GT5 Marketplace forum would look like this:

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=239​

Try out the link above here. The forum ID number (the Marketplace is 239) can be seen in your browser's URL any time you are viewing that forum, like so:

https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=239​

You can exclude more forums from the search results by simply including more forum IDs in the exclude parameters, separated by commas. You can also use "include" to show only forums you specify in the search results.

Edit the link like this: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=239

The exclude part will eliminate the marketplace from your search. You will need to use that link to get to the new posts though.

Thanks. The Marketplace really chokes out any interesting or discussion worthy topics if you don't filter it out.
