I've only been in there a few times (took me a while to figure out there was a GS so close), but I think I remember seeing a DFP in there.

This is probably old news but I just saw my first GT4 commercial on Spike TV. Its so awesome and they actually showed gameplay not just cars dropping out of the sky :)

Need a time machine !!!
 
I hope BB will have it out on the 22nd. I plan on stopping by monday after I get out of college and see if they have it in the back. God I hope they do!

Got the sunday paper just to look for GT4 ads. Best Buy lists it as " available thursday"

Toys R Us lists it as a March release! :lol:

Of course, online at Gamestop ( where I pre ordered ) it lists Feb 22 ( tuesday ) as a pre release date. I guess that means us pre order fellas get it on Tuesday, the others later in the week.

Makes sense, that way they can get the pre orders out of the way , and it gives you a reason to pre order games in the future.
 
I saw it last night during Chappelle's Show. It started off with real life footage then showed game footage toward the end. The car engines sound great.
 
Wow... Its getting SO SO FRIGGING close. If BB has it (like their suppose too) when they open up on tuesday, then I should have my pre-ordered copy in less then 40 hours!!!
 
We cancelled ours at Toys R Us and Reserved it at Gamestop today.

They are already in Town from what we have learned.Gamestop Employees are picking them up Tomorrow.Will be ready Tuesday.

Hell they told us we could of waited until Tomorrow(even though they said usually they do not allowe that) to Reserve it and would still get it on Tuesday.

Non-pre-ordered ppz will be able to get it anywhere on Monday midnight/Tuesday morning or day?

Anyone maybe work in these stores know when they will get it on shelves for sure?

i'd have mine tuesday-- if it weren't for school.. so it'll have to be wednesday.. i can wait... :) finished paying it off today.
 
you can't say when its going to come out for a curtain store. Each store(same company) will be somewhat diff. all accross the country. One BB might get it at 9 am on tuesday and another BB a 100 miles away might get it at 6 pm. who knows when they'll get um. All we can do is keep calling every hour on the hour and really bug them :p untill they tell us that we can go get it.
 
Just to add to this ive had it preorders thru gamestop online with free overnite ship and they changed the gt4 page from ship date 2-22 to eta arival 2-22

Also when i check my status it said before waiting for product and now its processing and they took the money out my guess is it ships tomorrow overnite to me and i get in tuesday morning

It all depends on the store. Unless the person working at the very store that you're going to get it from happens to be on these forums to respond, then our answers are meaningless to you. My local GS is getting them Tuesday morning. But that doesn't mean that your GS will get them Tuesday morning.

I found this information out in a very oddball way... I used that ancient technology called a "telephone", which is kind of an old version of voice chat. It's really a lot easier just to pick up the damn phone and call the store yourself rather than asking someone halfway across the country when the store down the street is going to get a game. Every store will get the game at a different time. And there is no possible way that we could know when that time is.
 
Why is GT4's released date such a contraversy? When I asked Gamestop about MGS3 they knew the exact date and it got there on that date. Every single time I have called a game store about a game they have always been certain about the date as long as the release date was official. What makes GT4 so different? I asked Gamestop 2 weeks ago and they said Feb 22. I called yesterday and they said "they think Feb 23". What the hell?! And I don't believe Presidents Day has anything to do with it. Sony has calendars in their offices, so they knew that the official release date followed a holiday. So exactly where do things get screwed up? I never had this problem with any other games.

Its not anymore since sony gave us a date. The contraversy comes from the retailers getting the game at different times.
 
Since we don't have this problem with CD or DVD releases, there really is no excuse for it. It's kind of frustrating to deal with this "release date" guessing game, after waiting over a year for the game.
 
went to eb to buy a game to keep me occupied for a bit. im able to pick up my copy tommorow morning :)
 
The sad thing is we all are worried over one little day(even I am). :indiff:

By this weekend everybody will have a Copy and everybody will be losing Sleep. :D

well tommorow is just for people who pre-ordered at my eb. and yes as far as i know its the white case with the back 1/2 of a gt
