as for whoever said I didn't get it, I did but its ok you don't have to believe me, I can careless anyways... its not the GT4 game itself.

Besides I am sure a good majority may still have to wait even though I am sure some places already have guide or game or both. It all depends on manager. The Gamestop I was at, she just gave me the guide when I did the combo order but told her about BB. She gave me reasons to go to Gamestop more now, screw BB's hot release, new arrival customer service.

1PM on the 22nd for PRE-ORDERS. I was told on the phone .. "Come on by and pick it up at 1pm Tues". He told me ONLY preorder people can pick up the game on Tues.
Best Buy around here is sayin' crazy stuff... "23rd, 24th, or 25th". forget that.
Target was also very up in the air with release info.

atleast from my phone calls, EB is the only one who is giving a solid time.

Decided to do a little experiment today... I go to school in Reading, Pennsylvania USA and I easily came up with 8 places to call about availability of GT4... Here are the results...

Wal-Mart: "We're not sure. The earliest it will be is probably early March. Last I heard anything about the game was January." Was on hold for about 5 minutes... 👎

Circuit City: "We're not sure on an exact date but I can tell you that the game was shipped to us on the 18th of this month so it is expected sometime this week." Was on hold for about 1 minute...

Best Buy: "The game will be available on the 23rd." Hold time was about 1 minute...

EB Games #1: "We should have the game by tomorrow night." Hold time was about 3 rings of a telephone...

EB Games #2: "The game will be here tomorrow afternoon." Hold time was 1 ring... 👍

2 FYE stores: "We will have the game by February 23rd." Hold time for both was the same at 3 rings...

Target: "We don't know. The game gets shipped directly to us and whenever we get it, it will be on the shelves." Hold time was about 4 minutes... 👎

Needless to say I won't waste my time calling anyone else other than EB games tomorrow to see when they get it in. They were much better in customer service and as up to date as possible on the release. 👍

I seriously doubt that ANYONE will be playing this game today. I just called Best Buy, Gamestop, and EBs in my area and none of them have it. Gamestop and both EBs are receiving it Tuesday afternoon.

I do hope that someone in the U.S. proves me wrong though.

Since there is no street date for GT4, BB will sell it whenever they get it in. I find it hard to believe that somehow every single BB store will recieve this game the morning of the 23rd. Again, the sunday paper's date was a safe bet, if it comes in earlier at your local store, BB will sell it to you because there is no street date for GT4.

Whats so hard to understand about that?

The street date is not the date on which the manufacturer ships the games, it is the date that retailers are allowed to start selling the games. In fact, most distributors have 1-800 numbers to call if you catch a retailer selling merchandise before the street date (Wal-Mart is notorious for this).

Best Buy does have a street date, it's the 23rd. Now, what's so hard to understand about that?
