I was lucky enough to see them race at Mosport 3 or 4 times in the late 70's, early 80's. First cars to top 200mph on the back straight and they ran similar lap times to F1 in the early 70's. Of course I saw them when the series was past it's glory days and missed out on the 1000hp+ era of the Porsche 917's, UOP Shadows etc. but still, it was a sight to behold. Bring it on SMS!

You lucky man. Can-Am in it's glory looked fantastic.

If the Pagani Zonda and Hennessey Venom in other games (Driveclub until PCARS) frighten me...a Can-Am car might make me 🤬 myself.

I was never able to see them in person, but I sure remember many weekends watching them on ABC's Wide World of Sports. I love the fact that Mosport may have changed in name, but the track layout is still the same as it was back then....... ok, enough with the old timer talk.... LOL
