I've finally got a CABLE MODEM!!!!!!!

I have a Linksys router as well. It's great having three comps connected to cable, though it does cause some slowdown because it has to share the bandwidth.

I would say a 4th comes from tweaking, as in, i used to score around 5000 on http://nyc.speakeasy.net After tweaks I get upto 10,000 which ive only gotten ONCE. Any time I take it now, its between 8500-9900.

Oh, I know how you feel (I've felt like that for about 4 years until now, so I really do know). But you said you've got DSL. How fast/slow is it?

I've just upgraded my service from 512/128 to 1024/256, so I'm quite happy!
 
Excellent Jordan, I'm glad you've joined the highspeed club. It's going to change your life now that you can see all the different things you were missing out on with a 56k modem.
