Why in the hell are you still 'grinding' if you're level 40 on both A and B spec? Now you've got to that level, surely you should just be enjoying racing your 850 cars? Or aren't you collecting them to drive?

How on earth do you expect to get the cash to buy cars for the collection?

Can u use the Toyota Minolta car here?

GOD DAMN
Why they're just copying A-Spec events? Why they cannot introduce something new or copy from GT4?

Its alot better than nothing, and the after sales support for this game is like nothing i've seen before so ,mabe its's time to quit whinging. Its getting real boring(the moaning not the game).

I have 5 MR2s! My chrome one, fully lightened, with 225hp and sports softs is the daddy. I'll give my lesser ones a run out tonight.

What is this OCD refreshing about. What are we expecting here?

Cheaper cars, new cars?

Enlighten me.

normaly ocd will have a couple of cars relevant to the seasonals

I don't think so. I got mine from winning some event. I don't know if I tuned it or if it is even possible to tune. Even at 50% engine power, its PP was too high.

87000 credits, 15000 xp for the fifth track which by the way is AWESOME, really fun track, cartoony so to speak, but pretty fun to race on.
As thread creator, why not be a good GTP citizen and rather than add multiple costs, just edit the first post with a quick summary of each race; eg track, credits and XP ? It makes things a lot easier for everyone.

I love this, now i can use my car that i hade when i was 18. The stock Toyota st162 with sports hard tires, that get 386pp makes me push it to my limits in every race. In the 246 track i used sport soft, a almost perfect race and won over à miata with 0.098 =) this is racing!!

The kart track is great fun it will be a nice one to try out some different cars and setups. Decent payout on this too tho i do wish it was a wider variety of cars for it. That being said the premium supra is a great car mostly modded to 370 HP rocks nicely tho no competition from the AI with it.

Used the '89 Miata with 138 hp, comfort softs and a pp rating of 368. Tsuka was easy. Tokoyo was quite a challenge.

At first I was struggling with a `88 Celica XX 2800 GT which I gradually upgrade up to 396 pp, but was getting nowhere near the first place, but hanging around 4th,5th place. :scared:
I decided to ditch it(although i love Celicas) and switched to a `88 Silvia K`s (S13) which appeared in the UCD after some races.💡 389 pp this time but lighter and with no mods just oil change snatched gold on SS5, silver in Cape and Kart track.:sly: I have the rest pending.
Nice seasonals, too bad no OCD update yet.

The negative-nelly's need to stuff it, these are fun races, and new sets every week or so is just fine by me. I have a bunch of eligible cars I've snagged from the used lot and just needed somewhere to run them. :)

I had allot of fun with this, I looked around my garage and in the darkest dustiest corner parked next to its rallycar brother I saw my dusty white 1983 Nissan silvia 240RS which was totally untouched, so I moved some cars out of the way and drove it out.

Did the 1st race and it felt a little sluggish, took it to GT auto and changed the oil and wow what a difference!! felt allot more eager out of the corners and the powerband is very meaty just where you need it for racing, handles very well too was fairly easy to win by a few seconds, even repeated the last race because i had so much fun.

I used it totally standard with an oil change as follows:

Nissan Silvia 240RS 1983 (roadcar version)
232hp
970kg
433pp
comes with sports hard as standard so I used those :)

Just thought I'd share incase any of you have this car and want to give it a try, better drivers than me would want to drop the tyres down to a comfort soft and maybe not change the oil (425pp no oil change) but the oil change made it feel so alive.

To be honest, I was hoping for something else this week. Not the huge payouts like before, but maybe something like a group C race or even a rally event. Granted the last two seasonals have giving a chance to use more cars in my garage. I do truly enjoy seeing what these cars can do.

On a overkill note, I used the 1985 Mitsubishi PAJERO Rally Raid Car for a couple of races. I also used the Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT-APEX. I have about 15 more cars to try. I will make this fun like I did the classic car seasonals.

Am I the only one who saw the mistake with the Eifel Kart Track? The menu says 3 laps but you run 5.

I used the Toyota MR2 1600 G-Limited Super Charger '86. A pretty good challenge.
I pretty much have all the cars now so will try everything in that range and run them all stock. A great way to get some cash, points and fun value. 👍 :)

Pretty fun with the right amount of PP. :)

did tsukuba with the 86 mr2 supercharged at 399pp on comfort softs, no mods besides some very basic HP mods & stage 1 weight. i probably could have won buy 5-8 secs but drifting around some of the corners slowed me down.. passed 1st place on the final turn - was a fun race. had no time to try the other races

No, you're not the only one. I can see that mistake as well, maybe someone wasn't concentrating when they were making the new events.

I can use my '88 Supra again! Can't play till Friday.. :( So close to level 30

I actually bought the '88 Supra just so that I could use it in the new seasonal events. I found it was too easy to win the new races with the Supra, so I might try and make a challenge of it by using something less powerful next time.

Eff that ****. 1 hour and its all done and wasnt even that much fun... back when we did the exact same thing in A-spec already! :grumpy: Goddamn, this unimaginative update and then no update to the OCD? I m starting to lose interest. Its just not worth the wait anymore.

An '86 MR2 supercharged popped up in my UCD after I'd run this series with the '88 Supra. Bought it, ran Eifel and one of the other races just to see what it's like. Fun car, I like that its lift-off oversteer is very controllable. Doesn't quite have the pace of the AIs but if one drives it well it should be competitive.

Give them a break, they had to fix things his week so it stands to reason that they didn't get other things done.

If PD were a two man (person?) outfit working out of their garage, I would agree. But, this is a company that has a multi-million $ product that is the flagship of a multi-billion $ company. I'm sure they could delegate one person for half a day to come up with a decent even and another person to spend 10 minutes updating the OCD.

So, no. I personally wouldn't give them a break and say "emperor has no clothes".
