1 more day before the movie! I can't wait! This is the new movie by Jet Li. I saw the preview and it seems to be not bad....

I believe this movie has been in gestation for a while. I remember seeing a preview for it last fall. I guess it's been delayed a couple of times.

Looks quite fine.

Not a fan of Jet Li or martial art movies in general. I'd still rent it though.

Resurection of an old thread.

Just got the import of this (R3) on dvd. Its stil not in cinemas in the UK!!
Best film i have seen in ages. Not only does it start off with quite possibly the best (& most brutal) martial arts fights ever filmed. But it's not all about the action. Its about The Story of Danny, A poor young (minded) man, who is helped find himself by a kind blind man. Ths story i found brilliantly intriguing. & i really felt for Danny as his story progressed.
Jet is a brilliant actor, which he never gets to show usually. But thanks to Luc (besson)s amazing script writing & his stlye of film making, he is amazing in this. Oh and the action sequences are very good.
8/10

I didn't rate it THAT highly, it was enjoyable but nothing great. The first scene was the best and worth watching the film for alone, after that it was average but entertaining.

I have no idea why its in Scotland, but except for that one line saying that women makes the best food in Scotland, you would never know. I watched a making of doc. & the director just said it was set in a way so that it could be anywere really.

could have been filmed in scotland for the dull lighting conditions. Ireally want to see this film, ive watched the trailer a few times now and really want to watch. Im a big Jet Li fan, and also love Luc Besson. Infact the cast and crew sould good.

I thought it was pretty good.. it's not your average action packed Jet Li flick but the acting from the major players was solid.. I've always thought that Jet Li had good body language and facial expressions so the role suited..
