Man, you outsiders wouldn't know. Billionaires like eatsviper is always looking for opportunities to expand his JGTC empire across the Planet. Sources told me that this Mid-Field Raceway in NY will be one of the venues hosting the 2012 Olympics. Apparently the one located in the U.K is already 4 years old, to go with its FIA-disapproved safety regulations and horrid track conditions. :p
 
So if we're at this new Midfield in NY then why is the track so bumpy? You American lot can't lay tarmac or what? :sly:

You guys at the other side of world will still run your qualifiers at your local track, but the official race will take place in NY. You know? New York being the so-called "best city in the world"... :sly: [I disagree, BTW]

While I can't answer your question exactly, as I'm just a measly driver, not a high-ranked, corrupted member of the JGTC Assoication. Most of the funds went into fixing our s***y streets, all the potholes and ****.. Blame our mayor for that, whose people called me earlier asking for my support. OK boss. No, really, I do. :dunce:

Week 2 qualifier summary:

Apparently, hOt was revived after beign beaten to a pulp by Koly, Kenny went from a mild concussion to a dead man but was still able to post via John Edwards, I'm supposed to be in prison yet I have internet access and is typing up useless infos such as this right now, and 1/3 of the drivers didn't write any article/interview/news reports. So yeah, to sum it all up, "this is gay".

In other news .. I feel great with my Qualifier. Since it about time to head off to bed here in Japan, will be submitting my time. See ya on the grid this weekend 👍

You go to bed at 8 pm? Man I envy you. I just lie in bed and wish for sleep. How about the heat wave yesterday. It was 36.2 degrees in Tokyo.

Nay I wind down and talk to the G/F around this time so no GT .. don't get much time to talk except in the evenings since she stateside. Bed around 10, up at 5.

Yea.. the weather sucked.. sun up at 5ish.. Blasted hot by 8 AM .. even today the rain was a small welcome.. but as soon as it was done, poof muggy..
 
I always thought Midfield would be in Canada, around Banff (which I believe is around the Rockies).

Anyway, I'm satisfied with my time. I must tried eight different top speeds before settling on my final time!
 
For some reason I've always thought of Midfield being in the UK, don't really know why. Maybe it's the name, sounds British :lol:
 
Heh - Here kitty kitty kitty, seems one of the kittens got loose and isn't so blind, its eyes must have opened and are a beutiful blue. Since my TCS has been a "sick puppy" and hasn't been working, i'd thought i would try a kitten instead, should get better traction with those sharp claws, and should run faster now that it can see too. :crazy:

Edit: OMFG - in the sponsers section at bottom there is an add about kittens and cat care, Now thats funny. :crazy: :sly:
 
I haven't managed to touch the qualifier in 2 days ... my PS2 is now in my new house, I'm still in my old, I'll be losing y internet tonight and I'll be LUCKY to have my PS2 setup by Thursday,

I really don't want to do this, but whatever I have for the qualifier will have to do. I'm submitting.
 
Don't sweat it Koly, the race is where the real points are 👍 I'm seriously considering driving around Suzuka in 3rd gear just to get a clean time for this week's WRS :banghead:

Time submitted 👍 Ran a strong qualy lap but I have no idea how much that weight penalty is hurting me, so I'll have to wait and see :nervous:

Zero, I did not received squat from you for Round 1, nothing for qualification, nothing about the race, not even a single PM explaining why you disappeared...and now you just send me a Round 2 qualification time pretending all is cool and alright. :odd:

Seriously, you think I'm going to wait for YOU to pop back onto the face of the earth and keep your little car on the side and refuse someone who wants to join and seems dedicated. No way.

Jesus just decided to resurrect me from the dead. My new nickname is 'Lazuras'.

Just did some laps and I know I have a good time, if I happen to knock off .3 I'd be very happy!
 
Qualifying time submitted, gave it a decent crack.
Pretty happy at the moment, till I see everyone elses Times that is :scared:
