MR8 actually helped me realize that we have another day, I was about to send in my time too

The AI difficulty is fine, I pass them and then when I pit they are right back.

OK I just finished my "personal" qualify session.
But my lap was done on RM so i dont know if i can post it..
I couldnt take schicanes flat-out - always had to break ang go down from 5 to 4 :/

Time submited.

I finished race 2 times. 2 time was 30seconds faster than 1 one. I took the lead just before T2 and havnt seen AI to lap 18~20 and than little problems started - in my race AI cars were very dispersed (if it is proper word) and after lap 20 i met them "alot" times (few times overtook them when they were in PIT) but overlaping them wasnt too hard. I used little bit different tyres than in qualif. lap but also couldnt take chcane flat-out...:/
That was pleasant race
I have done some laps on Fuji 2005 GT - grr :/ i also dont like that track :/ i cant see anything on it... As someone said earlier - I cant wait to get to Grand Valey

Q: Congratulations on your win today. A dominant run saw you leading the race by the end of the first lap, and finish 2 laps ahead of second place. Talk us through the start.

SG: Yeah, Yokohama have done a fantastic job with this tire, from the start they're very grippy, and the car was well balanced so I was able to push from the line. I was quite astounded at my pace early on, it was pretty hairy with an overtake almost every other corner! But the team did a great job with the setup today, and we're glad to be here.

Q: A bit of scary moment in turn 1 at one stage, was there a problem with the car or was that just a driver error?

SG: No, I'm afraid that was driver error. I missed my braking point for turn 1, tried to correct but my approach was all off, and I got a little excited because I was pushing so hard at that point that I just ran a little wide on the exit. Fortunately nothing broken, but I had some debris on the tires for a little bit.

Q: And some difficulty today with the backmarkers, we saw some angry scurrying on the pitwall between your team and the Falken team, any comment on that?

SG: Well basically somebody needs to remind them what the blue flags mean. Backmarkers are obviously still racing for position with other cars on track, so we take that into account, but today we saw some blatant blocking by those being lapped. It needs to be addressed.

Q: And the Falken team, were they more guilty than others?

SG: Watch the replay. No comment.

Q: Any final thoughts?

SG: The team did a wonderful job this week, and we're feeling confident for next week's race back in Japan. Fuji is an enormous event for them over there and the crowd vibe is quite something, so I look forward to giving them a good show next week.

I was really surprised how easily the "difficulty 10" AI were trounced ... I had a much harder time fighting the Lvl 8 crowd ... this race was all over after 1 lap :/

Could of prolly gotten 10 sec more out of it, maybe. But happy with results. SUbmitting. ZERO penalties for me. That a shock 👍

About to submit...I tried faster tires than what I previously ran, but I was hitting traffic in all the wrong places. However, my first race was free of off track excursions except for a couple times a little wide into the grass that didn't cost much. I just hope I had a sound tire strategy.

Pretty sure that was a GT500 class competitor Nat, at least I hope so .

Time submitted .... And I know I am waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off the pace here .
Had a good time with this race, ran much more consistant Lap times overall than Race 1, got held up a few times by AI, but thats racing I guess, managed a clean race with no offs (not pushing hard enough obviously) .

Going out to find a car park to practice for the upcoming Fuji race, not one of my fav circuits I'm afraid.

My race would finish right now, but so as i got this **** penalty due to modafoca CPU car, so its over.

I will kill my PS2

Copy/paste the 'Thumbnail for forums(1)' link and put it in this thread....dunno why Mozilla would have errors with that. Try IE if it refuses to work.

👍 WWOOOOOOHHHOOOOOOO glad i ran that race again, made up 14 seconds.
congrats to the other podium finishers and to my teammate for his podium finish
The only downfall to winning is the weight increase now i'll be up to 5%

Now on to the next race - and qualifiing - can i put the weight in my shoes?? "LEADFOOT"

I must say I am surprised. I guess my strategy of using mostly RM's didn't work out, I'm assuming the top guys used RH/RH?

Do I get any points for best lap?

It's really too bad we don't have enough teams this season, if next season we have more people I'm putting a 5%-4%-3%-2%-1% penalty system for the top 5. Since the penalties are not high enough right now people will still be able to win over and over more often than expected on my part.

Congrats to everyone on round 2 racing. 👍 It's a brand new podium for GT500 this time around and the total opposite for GT300.
