JGTC S1 Round 5 Qualif + Results

Time submitted. Ran 1 last time just to see what i learned from a practice race. Third lap out beat my old time by .3 - very happy with that indeed. :)

I guess cutting those rain grooves in the tires were just the thing. :sly:

There's a thread somewhere about fixing the pedals ... something to do with the wires and connectors and such within the base. Doesn't help you for tonight, but I wouldn't worry for the future.

Anyway, switch to the DS2 ,.. you're as fast with that as you are with the damned DFP, you freak.
 
Hehe, im doing my lap time now in DFP. Im trying to be away from DS2, but i first have to adapt very well to DFP. I clocked yesterday 4'50 on nurb with it, ya 2 seconds off of my time with DS2, but im geting there. Once i got a T1 of 30.4 at the nurburgring, driving the minolta, when my T1 with DS2 was 30.6. But i will get to adapt to it, sooner or later. :)

I hope i get a good time this week in JGTC tho, did one good lap and i think i can still shave 0.3. I will work on it again in some minutes.

I had a good time with this track, it was much more fun than the dry version IMO. I never got below 3rd gear in order to combat wheelspin.
 
The times should be really close here at such a short track, espcially in GT300.

Nope, the letter combinations here in Japan are very funny. Espeically the U's. I live in Yokosuka, but it is not Yoo-Kuo-Soo-Ka .. it is Yoo-Koo-ska. Just think you have 26 leter to learn, they have hundred's (when ya think of Kanji form)
 
Qualifying here sucked monkey balls. I'd rather do the Test Course race in the Vitz series again instead of having to drive around Tsubuka wet without TCS...
 
Ya, well when i had first started practicing Tsukuba Wet w/o TCS i was shocked after i did my first turn and coming out. It was extremly hard to keep the wheels from not breaking off its grip to the track. I started to practice w/ the DFP, still was a challenge but did much better and now am used to slowly accelerating on my 2nd and 3rd gears... 👍
 
If you are a teammate of either Small_Fryz or Rob23 start asking questions around because they are on the edge of loosing their spots. I'll be less and less tolerant from now on with people not sending times and with no explanations on top of that. Oh and btw there's nothing worst than joining in for your first round and not sending ****, right away you start on a bad note with me.

Again, don't come and cry to me after.
 
I haven't heard from Rob in over a week or more ... which is very unusual, because we used to talk daily. Not sure what's going on there, but I've got three PMs waiting for him - all unread - and his email doesn't work anymore either :(
 
Barbol you were suppose to race on the WET circuit of Tsukuba man, not the dry one. :p Thumbs up to all, we'll see if the top guys in qualif can be constant for those 50 laps. :rolleyes:
 
I did *NOT* expect to get 5th ... I could not improve my time since Monday and I really felt uncomfortable with the track, so I'm quite happy with my result :p

GOod run Barbol ... fast as usual :p
