JGTC S1 Round 5 Qualif + Results

I am assuming you received icemanshooter23 and my entry, but we were too late to compete this week?

I'm not aggrieved, I understand that submitting a team about 1/2 hour before quali closes is not ideal. But can you confirm that this is what's happened?

I'd love to do this race but if I have to wait it's ok.

Im real sorry about qualifying but i was shifting house and we dont have any phone lines at our new house so i cant even use 56k. Im at a friends house atm as i really wanted to run the race. I will try my best to get the time to you before the deadline.

Round 4 i should have at least 56k at home so i can be on time then 👍

Good to see the factory honda's take 2nd and 3rd. Viper proablaby noticed the factthat i submitted at 11:59. I was going tillthe last minute to beat my submitted time and I cam soo close several times but just couldent put it together. Maybe this rain will play in to the Hondas favor? lol im not holding my breath, but it should be fun trying, and hey no AI to worry about!

I received a so called PM yes, but you guys were never in the entrants list. I received a time from iceman but none from you. On top of that he used the stock values for the celica at 306hp.

Oh and your team is still not final because #23 is already taken, so can't enter your team yet on R5 race.

Just couldn't find a good speed setting to use. Nothing seemed right for me. :( Sorry MR, I thought I did great, and ended up last on Qual.

hey this is only qualy! Ive learned not to get my hopes up. But i have been talking to Pierre Dupasque and he say Michelin will be supplying some special rain tires to the Michelin shod S2000s ;)

On another note I still dont understand why iceman does not race GT500 and VTR races GT300 it seems to be the way the rest oh the series has gone.

Don't understand either, anyway people won't have the choice for season 2 that's the way things will work, all will be made and choosen by me.

Ok that's fine. The reason you had no time from me is that until roughly 2 hours ago I thought I was racing the Garaiya and furthermore that I wouldn't be doing this race at all. Given that it's the middle of the day here in Australia and I'm not near my ps2 it was not possible for me to jump in the NSX to set a time. :)

I did have a time in the Garaiya but I figured that would be of no use to you.

I'll pm icemanshooter23 and ask him to check the entrants list like I did and find a number that no-one is using.

And if you could give us some hp and weight figures for our vehicles that would be great too.

Like I said, I'm not upset at you because this has all happened very quickly, but any info you can give us to help us get racing would be appreciated. 👍
 
Damn that extra 33kgs hurt me :irked: Oh well, let's see what the race brings!

Congrats to the podium finishers. Close qualy in GT300 this week 👍

i decided to take Kolyana's car for a joyride, when she parked it in the pits for the day

i went out and had sucha blast in the ASL, no worries about me spinning as much!!!

but i came out with a best of 0'58.418
 
So my "method" was as wonderful as **** ...
I was driving at 3gear non stop (starting stright on 4).
Iceman also used that "method" ne ?
What was your time Iceman ?
hotboi did you use TCS or ASM ? probably not :P
 
Look, I don't mind you taking my car for a spin, but will you do me a favor? Put the seat back where you foudn it, stop playing around with the rear view mirror, leave my WHAM! CD in the player and don't throw it on the passenger-side floor, and - for pete's sake - stop making me look so slow!

Yep, I used the same method, and only using the gears 3 and up, and 6th only a second or two. My time was 57.999 but with stock HP. I didn't realize I was running too much.
