RULES : Standard online racing rules for clean racing applied when ever possible.

Race :

Minimum of 2 wheels on track
Rumble strips are part of the track
No intentional AI contact
No wall riding
No wall touching
No short cutting
No cheating of any kind

Since this is a semi-enduro format (just under 1h each round) we can’t really ask for 100% error free races. But you must still follow the same basic rules layed down for qualifications and use them when ever possible. Since you are racing with other AI cars little incident may occur and result in an excursion off the track, those are normal racing battles. Passing another car should always be done with caution and fair play just like in real life.

Modification from the previous seasons for R246, even if it's a street/city track we'll be using Forced Pit Entry penalty system this time around. :)

Good luck to all.

34 laps was my guess, though I thought laps were to be announced on Friday?... Pit in penalty is not a problem.

No qualy results yet, though, and how about a points update eats? You've had quite a lot of extra time through our delayed competition...

I guess qualy results are pretty inconsequential though. Can't imagine anyone going slower than I did. May even get beaten by some GT300 cars! :)

-Scott

I went slower than you did (but I have the excuse that my wheel is on a plane somewhere ;) )

Grr...what's with the stupid new signature restrictions? 6 lines okay, but 300 characters? My sig now looks like gibberish :irked:

got a banker in today, tried a 3 stopper, a little slower than I'd like, but at least it's in :) ... next up will be the 5 stopper ? ... kind of tough getting 9 laps out of the RM's this week.

done. finally raced twice this week. have to win. race was good, i expect good things... i need to do very well in those last 3 rounds...:scared:

its that time of the year again...

Time Submitted, I've done better and I've done worse.

Time submitted :(

My wheel was delayed in shipping so I had to use the DS2 this week, and as you all know I suck at that. To make things worse, real life kicked in this week so I only got 1 very poor run :irked:

Here's hoping my wheel gets here soon ;)

I think the week extension cooled my enthusiasm a bit. Ran once yesterday only, and no time today.

Hope to lose some weight.

Nothing from me. The break really killed my enthusiasm for this week. :(

Sorry Eats and Scott, and well, everyone! :guilty:

I tried to run today, but I got overly fustrated with the AI cars and couldn't put a clean 5 laps together, much less 34.

Totally understand what Eric's talking about, but GRR!!!

Not a good time to slack on the teams championship. Oh well, looks like Spooling's got it in the bag now...

Bleh.

Lost about a minute when I ran out of fuel with 1 lap to go....bloody hell....

Was on a 2 stopper too...

Three stopper, 9/9/9/7 laps stints. This was prob the hardest race in the series. In the lead from the double left b4 T2 on the first lap, lost the lead in the pits for 2 laps mid-distance.
As JR said, difficult to get 9 laps out of mediums AND keep the pace up!
Took me till Saturday night to get a clean race (no pens accepted in my books), I was getting really frustrated by the AI. On 5 occasions I had 45-50 mins on the clock, only to be punted into the wall by a lapped car, penalty, race over!

Lets hope Eats gets the results up early this time (By that I mean somewhere between the time it's promised and the middle of the week!:sly: )

laps 6, 12, 18 and 24, RM/RS. lap 30 RS/RS fuel on laps 24 and 30.

very shocked how fast i got in that last RS stint with almost no fuel:) (fast lap i mean, it was lap 33 or 32)

Casio,

I know what a pain that fuel situation can be! I've run out a couple of times (though never was forced to submit that time) and this week had 1!!! liter left on my last stop.

Neil, you just barely got me :

Total Time: 58'50.910
Hotlap: 1'38.169 , had a nice draft on lap 26

Gotta be shi**ing me! I'm glad I didn't kill myself re-running and dropping the 20-30 useless seconds I knew I had in it.

I thought for SURE I'd be losing weight this week. Like the points, don't lose power, how can I go wrong!

Neil, Drew, amazing finish guys!

That's what you get when you try to sandbag on purpose, baby jesus sees it and is punishing you.

lol looks like you're stuck at +10% since the start of the season or something, R5 or so to be exact!

I'm in shock, I thought for sure I'd be 5th or 6th, what happened ? Congrats Neil, if I'd have known we were battleing for first instead of last I may have rerun for that extra second.

Unfortunatly my esteemed partner seems to have quit the series without letting anyone know. We had a shot for 3rd. place....Next season I hope to get a partner that does what he agrees to do!!!

Good race everyone, congrats to all that have made it this far.

Congrats to the RX-7 crew! Very good race for you, Oldfart. I aslo thought to lose some weight, but I wasn't sandbaging. Well, I lost the series win by not subbmitting a race time in round 6. Anyways, I think you made a little misstake with the weight penalties, Ev4l. Please double check and update the driver ranking. Thx

Great result Scott, from a points standpoint anyways. I know ya wanted to lose weight. At least you didn't lose more power. :sly:

Grats to FasJ and BTTW for their wins.

I'm so sorry about missing this though. :guilty:

not on purpose, but i did kind of sandbagged 3 or four rounds... (single digit scores) only one shot races there.

that hurt me a lot in the standings. this season reminds me of the last one.
i have to do some math to see where i am right now

Very possible, but where is the potential mistake exactly?

👍 to the podium
I didn't figure on even being close :( tough track on the shoes
tried to run a different pit strategy and got punted :ouch: wanted to rip the lips off of someone ! ... and had to go with the banker :yuck: :yuck:

Andy, sorry to hear your P left without saying anything .... same thing I went thru back in the start of this... know how that goes :(

anyway... cheers to you and Neil :)

J.R.

Holy fuel injectors, Batman! I can't believe it, saved by the lack of commitment in GT500 ;) Horrible, horrible time and yet I still score 5th!

Congrats to the winners and podium finishers! My wheel is in the air now (I hope)...it had better get here soon :nervous:

This I don't believe! Again!

Congrats to Fransico! and Drew!

There is no way I should have won! It was the one and only clean run I had all week (out of at least 7-8 1/2-3/4 runs that turned into forced pit dirty ones cos of the AI), and I only got it on Saturday!

Ah well!

There goes the diet and the power boost for the final round!
