Dang, +7, I should have sandbagged, but I was sure I was gonna come in last and lose weight. I'm toast for the last two races, especially Laguna, I totally suck at that track. Guess it doesn't matter since my partner quit on me!!!

ROCK ON! Okay, let's do this. I LOVE TM as well, so look out Francisco! Laguna in real life is a blast to drive, in GT, not as much, but I'll get over it. :^)

What caliber, and how many turns on the barrel?
I used to be able to get 10 rounds in the ten-spot at 3/4's mile with an iron-sighted British army SLR 7.62mm(on a reasonable day,wind-wise), 20 in the ten spot on a calm day with the SA80 5.56mm fitted with the SUSAT sight!
Got scouted for the sniper corp, but as I was a medic!....................?

Well.... Andy and Neil kicked my butt at TM in the DTM races, so I'm sort of figuring that will happen again :( even with the added weight they've got. Started to look at how long a run before making a pit and how long of a race this is going to be last night. Pole of 1:20 ? ... isn't going to be threatened by me, that's for sure :ouch:

Neil, that's some good shooting 👍 and I know the weapons you were using, as I did some "work" with the boys down under a couple of times. No wonder you were being looked at for selection :) ... a medic ? ... crazy mo'fo's, at least the ones I knew... LOL

The rifles I used mostly ... Barrett .50 cal for the long shots ... a mile or so.. use to be able to hit 3 rounds inside of 1/4" at that range. Used the Remington 700 for a few "shorter" range. The Russian "Dragon" on occassion when we needed "another presence", if you catch my meaning. Loved the HK 91 inside of 500 yards, 3 round burst on auto inside of a dime :) ... that's walking , not prone :)

enough of the "old days" LOL

i was wondering how times would fare against last season, and they will not get much lower i think. last season VTR did this without penalties and with a high number of HP. (after that race he dropped 2 because the car was too fast)

Hope it's not lost man. I sent a wheel from the US to Brasil, took 3 weeks, but the Postal Inspectors in Brasil, held it for ransom...seriously. They said I had to pay them $175.00 to let it in, otherwise they would keep it...not send it back..KEEP IT! Since I already had the cost of the wheel plus $187.00 UPS charge I paid the SOB's!! My buddy said it's quite common for them to do that, they get alot of good stuff for themselfs. Had to be the most money ever paid for a wheel. Good luck, hope it comes soon.

Just submitted my time. Not a pole breaker, but probably the prettiest hotlap I've ever driven in JGTC. Watched the replay 5 times, perfect line, perfect braking points, just a textbook lap, not super fast but executed very well if I do say so, considering my +7 weight. The only replay I've ever wanted to keep for future viewing.

Indeed. This was the first race last time, after which I had some hp taken away because the car was too fast in qualy. But that inspired me to greater heights for the rest of the season (but didn't stop me whingeing about my tyre wear ;) )

Alas, those were the days when I actually had time to play GT4 seriously...

I like trial mountain though so I will try to set a time tonight.

Not at all displeased with it, not got the pole record or faster than Drew (0.018 sec slower), but not far off at all!

With only 315Hp(-1%=2% down on std) and 1155Kg(+5), really sore knees, twinging back, sore hands from decorating for 12 hours today, and eyes like p;ss-holes in snow!
Had to triple check everything, as the painkillers are screwing with my head a bit, as any of the DTM guys will attest to (raced at the wrong bleeding track last week)

Ya got me Eric by about three tenths, Neil is .018 behind me...whew, very close!!!
You got all 3 tenths in the last sector Eric, I was .03 ahead at T3,heck I was 2 tenths ahead at T2, I messed up something!!

If I don't get the number of laps for this race soon, probably won't be able to do it. I'll have to leave to organize the first big national GT4 metting here in Portugal (Me and Ricfight are the hosts). I will only be able to race this evening or only on race 12 again.
