So I guess PD started the update sooner since according to the original announcement it was not available until 11 pm EST. I'm going to leave work early and work from home while I get the update!
well... after the installation, you'll be asked to press the PS button to 'reboot' the game... after that you have the usual agreement form... I just chose the left button... in a nutshell

Painfully slow update and there's no excuse for not having a resume feature. It's a 400MB update ffs. If it fails three or four times at 70%...that's a huge waste of download.
And not everyone has unlimited traffic.
I'm sure I clicked the right option after rebooting the game? Then two okay's and the game started up with the usual opening credits. First thing's first....lets have a look at the F2007!

Hell Im gone 2 hours downloading now and its stuck at 90% with over 10 minutes. This is getting frustrating. And to think Ill have to do it over again with the EU version tomorrow.
I've been downloading for about 3 hours now, im at 85%...so yeah, id really like some clarification on which buttons to hit. If nobody else replies about this, I'll just look for what sinner mentioned.
