No camera angle on the crash? :nervous:

Bianchi hit the tractor?

It sounds like it; no sign of him in the corner before Sutil crashed, it appears that he arrived there once the initial recovery was under way.

If that's the case I think we'll finally see a re-think of how cars are recovered after incidents in conditions like this, let's hope that's not to the detriment of old-school tracks like Suzuka.

@Yauma9 not so far, just shows that they're treating it as a serious incident (which we already know), so far there's no reason for anything other than hope.

Race is over, but I'm not really focused on that, hope Bianchi is okay.

F1 Fanatic:
As the race has been red-flagged the finishing positions will be decided based on the order on the penultimate lap before red flag. #F1

So Vettel gets 3rd.

No seriously, where is the Marussia news.

So Sutil is ok according to Sauber but it's Bianchi who is the one that's being attended to.

It won't be shown probably due to the injuries or unknown condition to whom who's been treated now.

Bizarre end to the race - I just hope the red flag was not a couple of laps too late, and hope whatever happened at Dunlop is not as bad as it sounds...

Great, and the german broadcast is just reporting on the winners and so on, instead of showing and telling us about what actually happened with Bianchi.

OK, new they're saying he hit the tractor trying to avoid Sutil's car.

hsv
Bianchi has hit the tractor...
No way... This is serious... Reminds me of Maria De Villota in 2012.

Also Ferrari's points run has ended with Kimi failing to get points.

The good news is that he is already at the medical center. Hopefully we'll get some news soon and hopefully it will be positive.

Hope Bianchi is okay, this is a terrible way to end a race.

Sky just said an incident involving a JCB.

Should confirm Mercedes as Constructor's champion.

Edit: OK, I can't maths.

Not a full podium ceremony. Not a good sign :nervous:

Sutil supposedly confirmed that Bianchi hit the towing vehicle

Nothing is being shown in regards to Bianchi. We don't know his condition and it would be disrespectful to show a replay if he's gravely injured or worse.

Lotus's Twitter page messed up bad

Not quite. They needed Red Bull to score 4 or less points to win it. But they could well wrap it up next time.

Sutil has just told a reporter that Bianchi hit the truck sideways.

Hard not to remember Maria de Villota right now, I'm really really hoping Bianchi's okay and that the confusion is simply due to lack of any confirmed information right now.

Apparently Bianchi slit underneath the tractor.

Seeing Nico and Lewis talking to each other, they know something serious has happen.

I suppose sideways is better than head one, another positive is that the cars were running at a reduced speed so hopefully the impact wasn't as bad as we're all fearing.

Shoud've known... :nervous:

Hope he's alright and it is just a big scare.
