Someone requested a tune for this car in another thread. Normally for this car I just leave it stock and never ever drop her below 3rd. But, it sounds like others are having trouble taming her so I figured I'd give it a go. I had to really go to the extremes to calm her down at the apex when you start to apply gas. For struggling beginners, I'd recommend at least trying some TCS and see if she's easier to drive for you. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

She's ready to go right off the showroom floor, but I made a couple tweaks as she had a touch of understeer. You may want to lower both of the Acceleration Sensitivities (to the default 40) as you compress the transmission for tighter tracks. This car is so nice it makes me think this might be the most realistic representation of how this car would drive in real life. Or maybe I'm just cray. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

Another requested tune. Sarthe is in my opinion the most devious and deceptive track in all of motorsport. The reason being is it lends itself to super fast cars and its difficult to (for me at least) stay diligent with your braking zones. And of course there's Mulsanne and Indianapolis that are treacherous in fast cars. For this tune, I suggest easing onto the throttle in 1st gear on the back half part of the track where it's tight. I didn't try drafting so you may need to adjust the transmission accordingly. I took her to Suzuka for a quick spin and she was fun to drive there too, it should be a universal tune. The Horsepower, Torque , Weight and Transmission are from the Sauber C9 car. Just leave/put the specs for the other cars to factory specs. No mileage upgrades were done to the car(s).

Ease on the throttle as you enter the apex, the moment you cross the apex, smash it. Because the front ride height is floored, she needs help turning in off the throttle. She's pretty responsive now and if you've driven her stock before, give yourself a few full laps to get re-acquainted. This should be a universal tune minus the transmission. The roll bars seemed to really help give it a final nudge in getting the right responsiveness. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

It’s good although the suspension too stiff and the car just bounces like mad over the curbs (as I like to use ever bit of the circuit including them curbs).
Is there anyway you can improve this?
As GT Sport tuning is different to that of GT6.

The amount of oversteer on this car isn't lost on anyone. At just an N200 it feels like an old muscle car at times. A really fun car to drive. The LSD was key in getting the car to behave mid-turn. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

This car seems to have that floating feeling like cars from the 60's; so much body roll. She still floats like a butterfly (all that weight!), but now (hopefully) stings like a bee. The secret to this tune seemed to be the LSD Braking Sensitivity. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

I can try and give it another look, but with it being an FF car (IIRC), the suspension is likely that way to dial out the massive understeer. What track are you using?

I love unique cars like this. They can really add some variation to a car lineup that has tons of similar race cars. With no tune at all, she could be counter-steered for mega-respect points. Or slap on this tune and she should behave. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

I was using it on the DTG coming to the chicane last two curbs car just bounces and goes onto two wheels. Plus some other corners I have this problem too.

Hmm, okay, maybe raising the ride height will help there. Hopefully I'll have some time tonight after the kids are asleep.

I put in another session and calmed the car down in some areas and making her more extreme in others. After driving the car at the Gardens, I see what you mean by stiff. While it worked fine at Brands, it didn't apply to other tracks as well. So I've updated/changed the settings. Thanks for the heads up @JDM Jeff 👍 I hope this suits you better as I'm not sure what else to change without introducing more understeer :(

Ferrari 330 P4 | Jaguar XJ13 - GR. X
J7VXJY.png

I wanted to drive the P4 for fun and I was mistaken that I had only adjusted the downforce for my tune. I spent a bit of time on it apparently. I think it's a fun ride. Because I found a tune that suited a trio of Gr. 1 cars earlier, I thought maybe this and the Jaguar XJ13 were essentially the same car physics-wise. They are, and they aren't identical. The 330 P4 prefers to take the 90 degree turns at Monza in 3rd, while the Jag needs 2nd to get enough turn in. Otherwise, the tune below works great for both. The Horsepower, Torque, Weight and Transmission are from the Ferrari 330P4 car. Just leave/put the specs for Jaguar XJ13 to factory specs. No mileage upgrades were done to the car(s).

One of my all time favs (once I tune it first of course) in GT. She's very predictable and tune lets you push her limits well. The Transmission is set to 180 to help limit the torque as you accelerate out of the apex (sooner is better). This offsets any minimal increase in torque at the top of the gears since it takes so long to get there with 350 horse. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

Hi Jerome, can you please check the downforce settings as I can’t match the figures that are quoted. Keep up the superb work you do

Yep I must've forgotten to change the DF from a copy/paste job from another tune. I've updated it with the right info of 250 / 550. Thanks for the heads up!

Jerome

Love your tunes man. They have been helping me out a bunch. Appreciate the hard work.

Thanks buddy! I'm sure some of my tunes are better than others, but glad to hear it's helping you out! :gtpflag:

A modern classic that needs no introduction. What a fun car to drive and that sound, yessss please! The brakes are a little weak, so you'll need to stay diligent on your braking points and ease into the throttle, then once you are done with turn in, smash it. I also drove her at Tokyo Outer Loop and she fared well there too. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

One of my favorite WRS events in GT Sport (and overall) was this car here at the East, props to @EDK. I would've given anything to be able to tune the car when I first started, then the combo soaked in; what a ride. I've since made it a little easier to drive and should work well on any track (just adjust the transmission as necessary). No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

Honda NSX - Gr. B

I effing love Fisherman's Ranch, I call it the Brown Hell  This NSX should aim to please here, I find it has a nice balance between aggression and forgiveness. Keep her in 2nd+ at all times. The biggest improvement came from the Torque Distribution at 50:50 (I find a lot of rally cars benefit from this, especially with tons of HP *glares at Audi*). And best of all, I didn't wake the kids making the tune #winning. No mileage upgrades were done to the car.

I love this thread. Any plans on an eventual Lancer Evolution IV '96 tune?

Thanks man! Sure I can put together a tune for that car for you. Do you have a track in mind? With any luck I should be able to get to it sometime this week.
