It should have been the 100% completion/24hr Ring reward like the FGT was in GT4. By the time you have the FGT you've pretty much completed everything in the game.

I think they were too proud of it to limit it to the few elite people that bother to complete that stuff (especially when you can't save during an endurance, or make bob do it like GT4)

The Veyron too, it's the fastest production car in the world, why is it a standard car handout from an easy race.

Because it handles like a turd...Just updated myself don't really care for duping, but not being allowed to trade more than once on the same system will piss off people who share systems. Oh well, I wonder what else they are attempting to fix.

How about rolling start in online races, car class separation i.e. road cars, race cars and race modded cars also specialty vehicles like those tuner cars. How about allowing to select race limitations by drive train as well, I notice many people hate racing against AWD cars.
 
Ok, I figured I would test this out.


I took my Level 35 X10 Vet that you get as a reward ticket. I never used the ticket. It allowed me to send it, but I can't send it back do to it being on the same PS3.

I will be able to send it back tomorrow. So there is some information for everyone.

Exactly right. I've been saying it all day but no-one's interested. Panic! Sub accounts are fine for sending between (just 1 per day).
 
Is it possible to send 1 million+cars between accounts? If so the 2nd account could just send the ticket.
 
I have yet to see two posts that have agreed on the exact rules after the 1.07 patch.

I think what happened was with the patch, all trading of million CR cars was blocked (I tested this 5 minutes after the patch download last night). But now (sometime today), it was lifted. BUT, the restriction of trading one car per machine (with no monetary limits) still applies.

I tried mine (sub to main, 20 million credits) about 30 mins after patch landed - it worked before there was any chaos or mass complaint on here. I do believe they lifted the block between PS3s a few hours ago though.
 
As a test iv sent an x1 to my 2nd tonight. Gone through with no problems. It won't let me send it back but I'm presuming it will after the reset.

Also, my friend sent me an R8 lm race car tonight. Sent and received with no problems :)

Yep, the between personal accounts transaction would have worked anyway but the one sent from a friend worked as they've definitely lifted the block at some point a few hours ago. Wish they'd release facts though, instead of letting everyone stumble around testing.

Not true, I think.

Last night, just after the update, I tried sending a Ferrari 330 to my son (meant to do it early in the day, but didn't have time). He lives in another town, on another PS3. It would NOT let me do it, although I'd done something similar previously, due to the 1.07 upgrade. However, morning, after hearing that it might have been changed, I tried sending the same car to the same user, and it went fine. So (at least at that time, after the 1.07 upgrade but not until this morning), I was able to send a 20 mil car (not ticket) to another account on a different PS3. I've not tried that within accounts on my own PS3; I'm not that concerned about that. I just would like to trade some duplicates I have for cars I'd like to have.

Here's hoping it continues working, and PS has seen the error in their ways. ;-)

It's a bit hard to "comprehend" the update, when after the update, something works one way, and then the next day, it works another way. Yet, supposedly, no other update was made.

Plus, not everyone can test every instance (between accounts on the same machine, between accounts on different machines), all in a short period of time.

So, certainly people telling each other what works, and what doesn't, should be helpful to understanding what's going on (which does /not/ appear to be consistent, even on my PS3).

Yes, for those in an uproar and about to sell their games over this (lol), I don't think you understand how this works. You CAN still send ANY car, of ANY cost, to ANY other account. The restriction is that if the car costs 1,000,000 credits or more you can't send it back to the original account until one day has passed. Nothing has changed except that sending cars back to your main account takes a bit longer. Try it out for yourselves, people are still sending 20,000,000 cars to other accounts.

Maybe this will clear up the confusion.


When 1.07 hit, here is what was included. One trade per PS3 ID per day. (MAC Addy, Serial number). Also included was the ability to only trade cars with a value under $1,000,000 credits.

I know this for a fact as I could not send an FGT to my other accounts on another PS3 or to accounts on the same PS3.

At some point in the day, PP, which I assume heard the angry roar from the community, updated the game server side with no patch on our side needed. This eliminated the trade credit restriction, yet still, the one trade per PS3 per day still applies.

To change that, they would need patch 1.08 due to the fact it gathers information client side to match your PS3 to other accounts and sub accounts.

So there you go. Now can we all please stop arguing and get racing? Thank you.

👍 The 1 million unblocking change was promised by Kaz from his Twitter tweet. It went live around 1400 GMT 25-Feb-2010.
 
I just sent my bentley to a friend and I wanted send my f1 back from my sub account and it says I have use my daily limit already even tho I know I never touched the account today. I tried with sever of my other subs and same thing. So is it one trade per PS3 now?

guys i send 1 car per day from my sub account in my main Nissan R92CP Race Car '92 today but you must wait 24 hour to remain no 12oclock on the midnight
