Do you think that they will have Thunderhill in the game. My old biology teacher (and old neighbor) loves driving at Thunderhill with his Corvette and he wants a racing game with TH so he can race on it. Also a good thing about the track is that there are multiple layouts on it.

I'm hoping Thunderhill is going to be in GT5. It would be great to race around there in my very own virtual Spoon machine :)

Thats the point of the endurance race, dont matter what position, it matters that you finish it in one piece!

Probably because most cars in GT are production cars which have soundproof which inherently dulls the sound.

What I don't understand are people who look at youtubes of cameras placed 2 inches from the exhaust and claim GT sound sucks because the game, where you are inside the car isolated from the sounds, don't sound like that.

If you want racing car sounds, simple, turn your volume up to loudest with a set of really bassy headphones. It sounds realistic when your ear starts to bleed. Which might explain why racing drivers all wear heavy duty earplugs. Ironic isn't it.
Ding ding ding, we have a winner! 👍

Yeah, I'm sure racing teams spend millions on their 24 Hours of Le Mans efforts just to prove they tried their best! :dunce:

No, there still are classes and you still want to win your class.

Agree.

But everyone knows not EVERYONE can be at number 1

All teams that go in, they know they wanna do their best, but reality is there is someone better, after just winning a 24 hour or even 25 hour race in this case means you have accomplished something. Sure they want to win, but they know they have to save the car up and at least finish the race and not look stupid in the pit for half of the race.

If this is a normal race, 2-6 hours, they push the cars to the limits almost, #1 spot or nothing. So for the endurance racing, they know the game needs to be changed.. no wonder in the video they want to aim high, but at the same time just to finish in a good position, and just to survive it..

So do not put this DUMB@SS face to my quote my friend, because you are just offensive there with it.

Everyone is correct, no need for stupid childish dunce smiley twords me.

Of course they know not everyone can stand on the top step of the podium, but I'm sure a team like Audi or Peugeot would be very disappointed if they finish last or even fail to make it to the end (hell, I even saw a couple of disappointed faces on the podium after last years 24 Hours of Le Mans). I was exaggerating a bit, as I wasn't being absolutely serious after all, certainly new and small teams would be very happy to just finish and hope to improve in years to come.

As I already mentioned I wasn't being absolutely serious in my previous post, I was just kidding around, so I'm sorry if I offended you.
