Yes they should and probably already have... alot of cars they would have tested may have been with best motoring..

I would be very, very surprised if they haven't crossed paths. Also, considering Best Motoring was available on GTTV before, I'm sure there will be a greater link in the full game somehow like with Top Gear. Gunma Cycle Sports Centre would be great, and it's very realistic that we could have it in as even Dunsfold Aerodrome, halfway around the world, is in! I'm sure Hot Version/Best Motoring is far more popular in Japan than TG.

I'd love to see a race between the two, in GT5, like when Kaz race Tiff Needell in GT4, and beat him! Surely he wouldn't beat Dori-Kin though?

Also, there was an episode of Hot Version (ep 94) where Tsuchiya was showing Daisuke Ito and another Dome driver (Yuji Tachikawa?) how to race La Sarthe using an upscaled GT4 or possibly even GT5. So DK has played GT.

Very true, they would have definitely met then, remember watching the episode of Hot version (or Best Motoring cant remember).
