I'm 42 and most of the individual's I race with are between 25 to 60.

I'm not against racing with someone because of there age, it more about there maturity regardless of age and yes there are plenty of immature adults out there.

if poster really wanted to show kids driving, then would be just easier to see kid and screen in the same shot

PS i have had young kids on my rig and the FFB on the red bull car is a bit too much for them to hold on at that age. i had them try other cars and was still impressed at what they could do at that age. i just find this a bit hard to believe

see, if you expose little kids to violent trash heaps like mw3 chances are they are going to hear and do whatever they see and listen to. if someone cusses on the mic then the child will start to throw a tantrum, similar to the behavior of the swearer. just don't expose young kids to violent video games unless you want a problem child.

lol. on the first vids he ran 2 laps without any major mistakes, they werent perfect laps. however on the latest video you can see that he doesnt come close to doing a single clean lap and making many big mistakes each lap - so it is clearly not the same person driving. also people who post their videos on you tube usually dont post the bad laps. believe what you will, but many things on the internet are not always what they seem

look at the first video you post and look at the feet. if you think those are normal sized feet for such a small kid, then look at the video of the 5 year old , and you notice that the 4 year old has feet that appear twice the size of his older brother

anyway none of this is definitive proof, which is why i said i could be wrong in the first place, but there does seem to be a reasonnable doubt with regards to the veracity of the first 2 videos.

PS i dont pretend to run even one perfect lap, but i am a lot more consistant and i certainly don't go hitting walls, or missing corners that regularly. just seems suspicious that you can run 2 clean laps back to back and on another video when you see the driver actually driving he doesn't come anywhere close of even doing one.

Everyone has the right to enjoy GT5 online but the thing with young kids is they dont know when they are being annoying. I find anyone under 18 annoying at times although it can be entertaining to hear them talk total rubbish to each other

Absolutely. I think it has to do with them not realizing that other people are serious about online play. There's usually two or three kids on Battlefield 3 spinning in circles and shooting at the sky every round, the same way there's a 10 year old running backwards with a Red Bull X1 in a drift room. I wish there were age limits that people could place on online multiplayer rooms.

Gettin' a little OT here, but why do so many people care about this. I have no interest in talking to others when I'm racing, and I'm certainly not going to invest in a headset just for the occasional times I race online. But some rooms kick people for not having a headset.

Now, room host is entitled to run his room how he wishes, doesn't bother me in the least. I'm just curious why this would matter to people.

1) I can hear you without a mic, so moot point.

2) That's a reason you like to have one. Not necessary for everybody.

3) Again, I can still hear those.

4) Fair enough.

5) Stereotyping isn't a good reason IMO.

So 1 out of 5 of these are valid, and I don't think that's a good enough reason to kick somebody from a room for not having a mic. If I don't want to chit chat while racing, that has no bearing on my ability to be a good, clean racer in the room.



You first paragraph also outlines a reason you like headsets, but it's hardly a reason that everybody should have one.

Your last two paragraphs are actually reasons why people maybe shouldn't have headsets, so I'm not sure what your point is.


In the end, I still don't understand why a host would require a headset, but host's room = host's rules I suppose *shrug*

Here's a reason why you want one.

Buy a Sony BluTooth ear piece headset. It has a nice convenient big mute button (mutes your mic). Now when you enter a room, just mute it and set it on the table. All the peoples' voices go into the headset and don't blare into your home theater speakers or TV speakers. You don't have to bother muting anyone ever again.

Then in between races you can put the headset on and listen to admin at very least, or talk to othe people. In the race it's really easy to slip it on if you bump someone to say ''sorry'' or whatever.

I don't usually use it like that, but you could. Also it's a pain to have loud voices coming over speakers, that's worth the expense right there even if you never talk on it.

Oh this again! I remember when you posted this last year. I downloaded this from Youtube at the time and saw a couple not-so-well disguised cuts in the video right before you pan away from a TV. I don't know if you tried fixing that better this time or not, I'm not going to waste my time because I already know these vids are designed to deceive. Look at the strange camera angles.. and I haven't watched them in a year. I remember how obvious that one cut in the vid was and couldn't believe you thought no one would notice. LOL.

The screen goes all fuzzy after you ''set the SRF and auto steering OFF'' supposedly.. then at 13 seconds, right before the person's reflection moves across the screen, YOU CUT the vid or something.

So at the very least you have opportunity to go back into settings and set SRF on and Steering assist on, and every other assist on.

Right from that point on (13 sec), I have to believe everything else is 'set up' because why would you show the settings, and then have a blur and cut right in the middle of the blur.. right after you show settings.

Screen is fuzzy because the camera was trying focus. When I click on the Start the camera doesn't know what have to do. (Black screen)

I see again, AFTER you set game up, set SRF, OFF, Active steering OFF, etc.., you do long fade between two separate videos, or between cut in video. Why?

The shadows give you away. The shadows on TV are in completely different positions. It's so obvious.

Again, why the fade/cut/fade again? Was that to go in and turn all aids on? Hmm?

Why go through trouble of ''showing us'' all aids off, then instantly fade into totally seperate vid? It makes no sense other than to try to deceive.
