I tried to use your tune but the gear things just won't go low enough?!! For eg 1.211 goes down only to 1.378 or something I don't remember. So I set it to the lowest it can go but I keep sliding off. PLEASE HELP

I don't know how to help you with that mate. Mine worked fine. Make sure you reset to default, then set final gear, then set too speed. All in that order.

I didn't find where these settings were. I was at the tuning shop, upgraded the car as you said, and when I started to adjust the settings, I didn't see these options.

You buy a wing from GT Auto. Then in the settings before the race you can buy the torque sensing center differential. That gives you what you need. The tune is junk without the wing.

I thought it could be that, but I was too lazy to get back there and buy it.
Maybe it could have been a lot easier, but even if without the wing, I felt the difference and was enough for me to gold it.

Shoe67 is set up is just perfect. I've tried it today finally and the car is going like on rails. Downside is that is lacking in speed... Any way I still didn't succeed to win Nurburgring... Frustration is building in me to the point that I am afraid I'll break something :-). I am even considering paying to someone to gold this one for me :-)
My fastest time was 7:15:something and I have finished 3rd. Please some advice on how to win this bloody race!!!
THANK YOU

Go back to page 9 and check out the video. Lewis is very fast but you can get some ideas.
I used the FruityCakes tune for a couple wins a while back. You got to drive the Gallardo like you hate it. My best runs were when I was in a rotten mood! Cursing at the AI actually helps.

You can pay me and I will win the race for you 👍

As requested, here is a lap of the Nurb in the Gallardo. Not my fastest and not my cleanest, but a time of 6:50 still.

The more interesting part is that the car is almost entirely stock - the suspension, differential, weight, ballast, brake bias, tuning parts etc, everything is stock. The only thing I did was tweak the gears a little, and that's it.

This is just AMAZING!!! I don't know how he does it but he doest it! What to say... Back to the PS3 and doing it again and again and again as long as I don't win this bloody race :-)

I don't know how many of you are doing this with a wheel with your automatic 7 second advantage, but I don't know how you can do this with a DS3. I've tried every tune to no avail.

Me to bud, have gotten 3rd in the gaillardia and mercilago but can't get catch those Muiras with the ds3,still tryin tho.

Use my tune. I've gotten in the 6min range with my DS3. All I have is my DS3.

Also used a Gallardo with minimal tuning and a DS3 controller. It is possible but I liked the Gallardo because of the oversteer, might take some getting used to for people who don't drive a car that way. Time your downshift just before you turn in, earlier than usual, and control the slide through the corner. Worked for me.

Have I mentioned this is the only race EVER in all GT titles that I haven't won? You're not alone... alas what little comfort

Here. Use this tune. I just ran a 7:00.762 with it...easy win by 5.4sec.

Have you had a go in the Miura yet? It's still on share. It's harder to keep on the track than the Gallardo but accelerates really well. Seeing your success in the Corvette TT I reckon it would suit you.

Yeah it's too crazy for me lol well that was when I first come back on the game so maby I can drive it now? I will have a go later see if my skills have grown lol

If I can drive it I'm sure you can. I'm starting to regret friending you now. I was usually top of my friends list in TTs but now you're always ahead of me. :)

Oh, made a video covering this whole seasonal ages ago. Maybe it can help some of you that are still on it out :) Originally posted in a different thread about this but never in here.

Gonna have an hour or two on burn tonight, been tring on n off for two months, have all gold everywhere else on the game so it's marking me..lookin at vids of gold runs it seems that an overly aggressive drive is the only way,so be it .!

Bloody typos, you get the drift (pardon the pun).

Sheesh! Back to trying this seasonal again. Just finished Real Circuits with the Ring being the last one so I jumped on this seasonal to try finishing the Ring right away since it's fresh in my mind. Not having much luck with it. Tried Shoe67's tune on my Gallardo and it's got me to within 30 seconds of first place, which is better than the 50 seconds difference I was having with my Miura. There's just not enough power! I'm used to 900+hp in my Bentley 8 and being able to reel in most of the cars. This one just requires patience...

It's all about practice. I've ran hundreds of laps on the circuit, so I know it pretty well. Just keep lapping and your average times will drop. Then eventually you will land a perfect lap 👍

Also, I usually pass for the 3rd place just before the 'Toilet Bowl'

The way I've got my Gallardo tuned right now is fantastic. It just needs more speed on the straights. My last run I had about 4 "out of control" situations and I finished with a 7:29, roughly 25 seconds behind the leader. I can't tune this car any better. I don't know if this car can do a 7-minute lap or not, but as most of you know the more you do it the quicker your driving becomes. I'm just getting so tired of the Ring...

If you are using my tune it is capable of sub 7 by me. I'm not even the best driver. If you had mike_gt3 (in my opinion the best 'ring drive on the forum) run this he could probably hit 6:50 or maybe 6:45.

Isn't the current offical lap record in a Formula car just under 7? I mean, IRL is a Gallardo even able to do it that fast?

No. The IRL record I believe is a low 6. But as far as street cars, I think it is 7:10-7:20. Not exactly sure. But this is GT5, not real life. 👍

Finally!!! :)
It was a really tough seasonal but now i finished it by using my DS3 (no wheel available).
I started with my Gallardo LP 560-4 which i owned since the A-SPEC Lamborghini event. It was tuned with all parts (inclusive weigth reduction 3, chassis reinforcement, engine 3) and power limited down to 550 pp. I used a basic tune of praiano63 and made some small personal adjustments. The races on Autumn Ring, Special Stage Route 5 and Toskana were pretty easy and i could finish them by only one attempt. Rome City was a little harder but after 5 tries i managed to drive clean, fast laps and catched the 2 Miuras in the last corners of lap 5.
Now only Nürburgring Nordschleife was missing and that got me almost desperate. :banghead:
I was able to do lap times around 7:15 which was only enough for 3rd or 4th place. Searching for some help in this post i found Shoe67's tune, tried it but could not really improve my lap times.
I thouhgt maybe i should drive another Lamborghini and picked the Countach LP 400 using a tune of praiano63 again. This is a real beast, better acceleration and top speed than the Gallardo but harder to control and keep on the track. I could lower my lap time to 7:10 and finished in 2nd place but the leading Miura was still far away.
Then i found this insane video of Lewis_Hamilton racing with an almost stock Gallardo 6:50 and thought maybe this is the way to success. So i went to the NCD and bought another Gallardo LP 560-4, installed a wing to set the downforce to 20. I did not purchase weight reduction or chassis reinforcement, also no engine, intake system or exhaust parts. All i did was to install a fully customizable transmission, all drivetrain parts, a fully customizable suspension and sport soft tires. But i did not change any parameters except the transmission. I changed it in the approved way: set to default, final gear all right to 5.500, top speed all left to lowest, then set the ratios relative to the scale (1st 0%, 2nd 20%, 3rd 40%, 4th 60%, 5th 80%, 6th 100%) and at last move the final gear to achieve ur top speed of 325 kmh/ 200 mph. The power limiter has to be setted to something in the 90s% to lower the pp to 550.
On the track the car felt great, not too much understeer or oversteer, stable when getting a little of the track and fast when sliding through the corners. When the car gets a little out of balance it becomes stable again quickly, so it is easy to keep the desired direction.
In my first attempt with this new Gallardo i finished 2nd place in 7:10 and i knew with this setting i could do it. My 2nd try was pretty fast, i recognized the lowest intermediate times ever, though i went a couple of times of the track and had a few troubles passing the AI cars. In the right corner before the long straight Döttinger Höhe i passed the leading Miura and with an increased heartbeat and sweaty hands i came in 1st - 7:04!
This was my (maybe too much) detailed review of the Lamborghini event and i hope all other still trying racers will achieve the win soon!

Patrick8308, I'll try your set up/tune tonight and see will it finally earn me only one missing gold of all seasonal events.

Had about 2 hours on this this mornin, finally getting somewhere.managed a 2nd,3secs behind 1st place muira...down to 1min 8s lap....just can't get that 1st corner as fast as I have seen others do it.
