There's not a better car for the rally races.  I raced them all in about 4 hours and never lost one of them.   I have the Lancer VI GSR Tommi Makinen Stripe with a stage 3 turbo and some other stuff.  This car runs great!

haha.i have a lancer evolution 7 when i started off.that was my first lancer...i maxed it up and used it to all the rally races..
i won everything with that ..so wicked.
i won like 6 or 7 more lancers after that..
lancers are the bad a$$ i tell u..love that car..

You know what? F anyone that says Evolutions are crap. They are great cars. You aren't gonna find a better car for 29,000 than the Lancer Evolution VI. And when you are starting out, if you get the Evolution VI as your second car, you can progress quickly. Everyone seems to be obssessed with Skylines, yet they don't handle as well as Evolutions, at least not for me.

Forget about the Evo and go for a true thoroughbred rally car like the Scooby!... Seriously now try the Subaru Impreza Rally Car Prototype it's has to be the quickest rally car in the game. But if you gotta drive an Evo go for the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII Rally Car Prototype which kicks a$$ as well.

The cars you mentioned are kick but, but for a beginner with limited credits the Lancer Evo. is the way to go.

i won a lancer evo VII rally car prototype from the SS route 5 wet with my 4wd skyline and the lancer kicks some sweet ass!!! My friends and i held a little lancer cup at my house and i smoked there asses!! Lancer pride b a b y !!!!!

teh lancer is coming to the US, its not gonna be an evolution but they will be under 14,000 i believe, final we get to look at other cosmetic ricers besides honda

lancers make more torque than imprezzas and at 500 lower RPM (3500). I wonder why the imprezza is faster?

They also keep the displacement in check, unlike Subaru, which makes their cars (2.5l) illegal for WRC specs.

It's real annoying when people ask me, "Why do you prefer the Evolution when the STi is 30 more horsepower (300)?" My answer is simple: It's lighter, better handling, and is availible in sleeper trim

I think the thing that really alerted me to just how dead this thread is was the fact that someone posted saying 'The lancers are coming to america'.

Then I looked at the date of that post.

Then I realised that this thread is THREE YEARS OLD and really pretty pointless

But I'll just be a total hypocrit now by joining in: Impreza Rally Car Prototype. Can't be beat.
