I have a day off on the 24th. The game will be delivered to my wife's work place so I will get it around 4 pm. Then she and my 18 months old son can forget that I exist for that day... First thing I'm going to do is to transfer all the cars from the GT for PSP and then I guess I will have to start with the licenses...

Already used my last holiday for this year for November 5th launch day so as i originally thought i'm gonna be working !

Booked off the 24th to pick up the game as soon as the stores open and have a go with it the entire rest of the day.
Couldn't take more as otherwise I would need to cut in my 2 week Christmas holidays :)

Take a half day on the 24th
drive home
install game (full install)
play all day/night
sleep a few hours
wake up in the morning
drive to parents house (5hours) for thanksgiving
spend downtime during the weekend reading the APEX booklet
return home Sunday
play forever.

On the day of launch (5th over here in N.I.)

I will be working, but the lift home SHOULD get me to the Gamestop door at 6PM on the dot. The guys in there are sound and I'll get my copy.

I'll meet up with my buddy in the bus station and get the bus home at 6.20PM. At 7PM I will open the door, the stupid dog will greet me as usual. He may recieve a swift knee to the face. Havent decided yet.

Then I will head upstairs to the probable countless "Did you get another ****ing game" to which I will slam my door, tune in the ipod to the gamer chair, and get GT5 hooked up to my new projector!

have sex with my gf one last time cause I know our relationship may end over this. So get it while I can, and then off to the store to pick up my reserve copy of GT5. Go home and play all day and night, and eat turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, egg nog, candied yams, ham, mashed potatos, gravy, and repeat the process 90000x.

Hahaha, Well done sir!

I'll Race home from my mock exam for Physics and fail any ones which are after this date!! GT5 will be the enemy of education!

Amazingly, I just so happen to have that day off. I even scheduled the 2nd of november off just days before the delay was announced.

Where's the excitement in preordering anyway? I want to have control over when I pick it up. And with a Best Buy, Futureshop, and Wal-mart around the corner I'm pretty much guaranteed to get a copy.

For me i've got college from 9:00 to 12:00 and will pick up my pre-order from HMV in Crawley (their boards say December still at the moment) then I have to get the train home and a 35 minute walk home. So I won't be able to play it for a while. But at least I'll have the afternoon to play it.

I've just worked out installing 10 gigs of GT5 to my PS3 HDD will take around five hours. Looking at the leaked videos however it may be possible that we install bits and pieces as we go along, (you can see "installing" written in the lower right corner) I hope that's the case.

I don't have class on the 24th, so I will be waking up early, so I can go and get GT5. Bring it home and install completely and begin the destruction of my social life....... Just kidding.;) But I will play it all day.:)

I am taking November 24 off from work. I do not think my local Gamestop is having a midnight release so I will stop by that shop a few minutes before opening. Then I will head home and spend the day having fun with GT5!
:)

Ill be away in work entire next week :/ Luckily ill be working just about every wake hour so time will fly.

But on the way home ill be picking up the PS EYE camera and a Sony PS3 headset and when i arrive at home, my GT5 CE should be waiting for me in the mailbox! (If its not, there will be murders)

Entire weekend will be spent GT5ing.

Well I'll have 'review day' at school on the 24th (I'm 17 btw).

So I'll go in with my parents, they will talk to my teachers and then my parents give me a lift to a game shop.

I'm hoping since it will be early'ish (9:30-10am) on a week day, I can get a copy even though I havent pre-ordered. Besides, there are 4 shops and an Asda locally that all should have it.

On the 24th, I'll be at Uni without my ps3 so I'll have to wait until friday to play it :(

Waker up a arround 9 in the morning, go to the next store and buy tons of energy drink and chocolate or something.
Wait until my copy arrives.
Installing it while watching videos of gt5 on youtube.
Begin to browse the menues and options.
Start playing with my controller.
Being frustrated because I suck, turning driving assistants on.
Beginn to realise that I can't drive with this helps, because it feels unrealistic.
Put my LCD TV on my desk to have a table where I can install a wheel.
Connect my noname wheel and hope that it works, if not decide to ask a friend if he could give me his g25 for a few days.
Searching ebay for used wheel and realise that I can drive very well with a wheel.
Looking for headtracking videos and if they are good I will buy a ps eye

I'll get up in the morning, go to work all day then when I get home I'll wait for my girlfriend to bring it home with her as she is buying it for me.

Then I'll install it while reading through the Apex book. Then see if I can use my Chromeline cars from the CE. License tests after having a good look around the menus.

I hope stting up the buttons for my G27 isn't too difficult as the G27/25 doesn't appear to be in the setup menus.

Not taking any time off work.

I'll get up Wednesday the 24th, go to Gamestop at about noon and pick it up during my weekly shopping errands for groceries (since it's right next door to the supermarket). I'll get home at about 1 or 1:30, install the game, glance at the Apex book, get disappointed by the installation time, go and grab some lunch, come back and play.

Sadly, I only get 1 night of bliss as I have to watch children all of Thanksgiving weekend plus a Thursday Night NFL game at the Meadowlands (which is not as fun as people say it is).

Launch day i will cry all the tears of my eyes because i preordered online to save 20 euros on the collector edition, and i am absolutely certain the game will not ship before the 24th. At least it will be a local express shipment so it shouldn't take too long.

Pick up my Collectors Edition, take it home. Carefully open the package gloss over everything, then insert the game into my system and load it up. Now while it is installing I will take this time to check out my spoils, read some tidbits of the Apex Book, check out the model car, look at my DLC code from GS, and the DLC code for my Collectors Edition Chrome Line cars, heh heh, amazingly I think that I'll be getting lots of DLC right off the bat. Then once the game boots up, I will head straight to the options menu and set up my wheel, I hope they have a sensitivity setting for the dead zone and pedal travel. Then I will let the intro play once and this will be the only time it will ever play. I more than likely won't send my PSP data over just yet still hunting for cars to ship over to arcade mode. I'll probably spend the first day checking out the physics engine and not actually laying GT Mode at all.

Yo dudes and dudettes, so I pre-ordered the CE from Gamestop, paying for next day delivery. So do you all think that I'll get my delivery on Friday the 26th? Be it that thursday is Thanksgiving, any thoughts? think I'll get my CE on 11/26?
