hmm lets see...
wake up at 6
make coffee
play NIER till 7:30
leave the house at 8
Walk the 1.6 miles to gamestop
stop by wall-mart for a 2 liter
wait till 10 till they open
pick up my CE
Walk 1.6 miles back
Install the game and take a nap
wake up to it still installing
go back to sleep
wake up
go to psn and download my 6-7 Premium cars (CE and gamestop)
Then play till my eye bleeds and break my 72 hour play fest on D2

Work for the next three days, unfortunately (I don't get paid until the 26th, so I won't be able to afford it, I've already had to downgrade to the normal version from the CE).

I have Amazon release date delivery because I was expecting release on a busy Tuesday of mine.

Therefore, I'm going to stay up to about 4:00 AM on Tuesday night writing a paper and I'll make some fudge for Thanksgiving. I'll go to sleep and since I had been up the day before since ~6:00 AM, I may be able to sleep 'til about 1:00 PM.

I'll wake up at 1:00 hopefully and have just enough time to shower and eat a lot to reduce gaming breaks. I expect the game to arrive between 2 and 3 PM.

I'll probably stop playing some time on Thanksgiving. I'll sleep for a while and go see some family. Then I'll come back and play a whole lot more. My roommate is gone for the long weekend and so are most other friends from school. It will be GT5 and me... mano y mano.

touche
presents are debatable and who needs a real car when you have a digital one lol

Dammit, you're right! Screw the family, they can see me next Xmas :D

I feel that the Europeans have been screwed over the CE where the other areas get a scale model with their CE versions, we don't. This is my main issue with the CE, and I've no doubt that someone, somewhere, will scan the Apex book, as well as the Prima guide, and make it available for download (not that I'm advocating or suggesting it of course, AUP forbids it).

The night before launch I'll put in GT1, GT2, GT3 and GT4. I haven't played them in a while (especially GT1-3) and I think it will bring back some great memories.

Hey all,

In Ireland, Gamestop does midnight launches, So i will prob have the game at midnight. I will get home asap slap the game in, and prob just watch the game intro in the new cockpit and then play for as long as my eyes can take!!!

Then ring friends and gloat!

I really have no idea what I am going to do about this now. After 6 years of waiting, I am still in denial that this game finally has a true release date. And its 1 day before thanksgiving. I have no idea what I am going to do about this now. I probably should go pre-order it today before its too late. I wonder if our Gamestop will be doing a midnight launch. That would work out perfect.

My plan, convince the guy in the store to give it to me a day early. Skip work the next day. Cry because I have to go home for thanksgiving. Dream about GT5 on the trip there. Return asap. Play more.

I'll probably be watching GT5 videos uploaded and the TT times online (if available already), took a slow delivery on my pre-order. Just hope it arrives before the week-end.

Get up
Have a nice looong shower
Roll and Sausage for breakfast
Go to job interview at 9 (Door Usher, Woo! .. and wish me luck :D)
On way home, pop into shop and buy it
Play it for a bit, then probably go out. :)

LOOK EVERYONE! HE GOES OUT!

So on the new GT5 release date I work 1-9. So I won't be playing it for a couple days, oh well.

check mailbox around 12 noon on wednesday. Scream in ecstasy in my head so nobody thinks I'm crazy. Unwrap it furiously before I get back to my apartment. Put it in my PS3. Let the huge install commence. Make a sandwich. Eat. Come back in a half hour to find that it's done installing. Check out every single menu before starting off at the B license. Play until around 2am taking breaks to pee and feed or clean my hedgehog's cage.

Well I'm off from the 19th till Dec 1st. So I will be getting up early on the 24th and walking the dog and grab some food and drinking supplies from the store. Then playing GT5P till the UPS man shows and after that just playing GT5 until I can play no more...

LOL, the only fanbase with a longer wait between games.

I will be waiting til the UPS woman decides to show up which is anywhere between 10am and 6pm, I will probably get called in to work so I won't be playing til the 25th.

kind of sucks you don't get a model car :(

but at least you get stealth cars vs our "chrome line" models (kaz is racist we don't all like chrome or are rednecks)

I'll get it at midnight after I run an junk, than play for an hour or two. Sleep, wake up and play all day. Simple!

I have a CE (USA) that I am willing to sell to someone if they want it. From what I know, they are all sold out.

Just called my local Gamestop and the guy said that they plan to do a midnight release but isn't sure if they will because the other Gamestops that are close by can't do one.:odd:

But the best part is, if they can't, they will release it the day before around 7pm to people that preordered!

Here's to hoping that they can't do the midnight launch, becase I get off of work at 6pm. Perfect! And I have a 4 day holiday weekend.👍

My plan, well, hope my anesthesics work for a long time, since i'll remove my left wisdom teeth and will be unavailable to work.

Release day, 25th of November for me, I'll be working.

So, finish work, go to store, buy 4 days of frozen meals and nutrient water and Red Bull (Red Bull Konstruktoren und Sebastian Vettel 2010 und jüngste Formel-1-Weltmeister!)

Play non stop for Friday (day off) saturday and sunday.

Probably take a break saturday night and grab a beer with some friends only to talk about GT5.

I don't want to watch too many videos before I get the game, so it's all the more exciting when I do. I'll probably be down at EB games right on the opening time to get it, then I'll play it until I have to go to work.

The day GT5 was suposed to be released I had the day off.

This time I'll have to work as usual. I just might slip out a bit early to get to the store before closing time ;)

I've booked off the 24th, 25th and 26th.

I'm assuming the game will arrive on Wednesday (24th) so will spend the previous night and day with my girlfriend up until the game arrives, then probably say our goodbyes (unless she wants to bask in the glory of the intro etc. and have a go...) then get stuck in.

Think on the 23rd I'm going to cook up a load of mince or something to keep me alive over the next 5 days of awesome.

Holy crap, that made me laugh out so loud !!!

I have to work on the 24th...ironically I put in leave for the 26th, as in South Africa big releases are usually the 26th. But now it's getting released the 24th, which actually suites me.

Now I can get all the menu exploring and car exploring, installing etc. out of the way and can start bright and early with GT LIFE Friday morning when my wife leaves for work!

Unfortunately my wife's sister has her bday party later that night, and after that I have another bday party... but will play the rest of the weekend!

I'm booking the afternoon off work next week for GT5.

I'll be leaving work around 1pm, travel into my local town for lunch with a friend, pick the game up afterwards and then travel home to play for a good few hours!

After November 24th, I only have around 3 weeks till I'm off for a month for Christmas, so not long before I can put in some serious time with GT. :)
