Launching techniques

Hi all,
When I usually do drag races online, I mostly get beaten by guys launching way faster than me. I usually hold down the brakes for about 10 to 15%, but is there a better and faster way to launch my car?

What button do use for brakes? Most use the analog up or down for e brake as its pressure sensitive, L2 also works for some. Internet speed is also a factor, if you're using wifi run an ethernet wire if possible

I'm using L2 right now.

Left stick down here for the E-brake, it made a big difference over lifting off the circle button. Don't use the regular brake.

Watch out for those invisible x1's when you're lined up next to his buddy.

That was another growing popular launch "technique" towards the end of 5.

What everyone else said above tho is what you need. Everything else will come with practice, and having no life. Lol
