since I have all the cars in LCD I shifted focus towards brand central to complete my collection and I still have ways to go... For the expensive cars 1 million - 3 million I didn't count the amount of cars but counted the money I need and its 36.6 million... right now I'm currently at 10.6 million...so to put that in perspective if I was still focusing on LCD cars specifically some of the most expensive cars range from 10-20 million with at least 6 cars at 18-20 million...im already pissed I have to still save up to 36.6 million meanwhile I spent that on 2 cars easy in LCD smh... I don't know how I did it... but the good thing is LCD did give you time to save and buy before it sells out

That's me right now. I already gave up trying to buy all of them and I'm just going to focus on cars that I want the most. Although I 99% will buy every new LCD car added through updates.

I know the feeling... I've spent 509mil cred on cars and I'm only at 342 unique cars, so I've got nearly 100 cars left. In actuality I only bought maybe 300, the other 42-ish came from the ticket glitch.

My big outstanding purchase is the Alfa 8c that I mentioned a day or two ago, the rest are Brand Central. Already bought most of the 1mil+ cars out of there that weren't VGT's, but I've still got 13-14 VGT's and then the rest are pretty much hatchbacks, FF's, EV's, and other cheaper cars I don't care for. Haven't added up how much I need to spend to get the rest, but I know it's a lot more than the 10.8mil I currently have!

It's times like this where I question my obsession with having at least two of all the LCD/UCD road cars, lol. Did I really need five Testarossa's and four copies of every 911 in the game? Three Miura's, GT40 Mk1's and GTO 84's?! Apparently I thought I did at the time... The good thing is I can do weight reductions, add perm engine upgrades, wide-body kits, etc and still have a stock version to fall back on. But now that I've tuned a lot of these cars I realized one car was enough in pretty much every case. Oh well, if PD ever has the technological break-through needed to implement the selling of cars ( 🤡 ) I've got a lot invested that I can cash-in at a massive loss.

Yet even knowing I don't need them, I just bought two more Z 432's... They're so cheap I'd be stupid not to own five of them! lol

I was just about to ask if you have doubles of every car but after reading it seems like you do with some cars... because 509 million seems like enough to buy every car unless you are tuning every car or doubling up...I do have a few double up cars that I don't care for and when the option comes I want to sell it... but theres probably a few cars I have one car but I do want to double up on...with that being said theres a Ferrari car I have a wide body... I want that same exact car and don't want a wide body but its not reversible so I have to buy it again... Its an LCD car... how do I find out which cars I have a wide body on?

I always have doubles. Sometimes I want to drive the pure stock cars just to get the feeling on what should I improve.

In the garage, the default page that shows a photo of each car, it will say "wide" or "wide body", I believe in the top right of the photo. It's a yellow/orange font. Kind of easy to miss if you aren't looking for it

As far as getting rid of the wide body it can be done, but I believe it's 115% of the cost of a new car. You go to the tuning garage and there's a "new body" option on the "Extreme" page (last page) On cheaper cars it's fine but when they're over 2-3mil credits it's kind of a waste. That's the main reason why I bought duplicates of every car that has engine and weight reduction options, it's cheaper to buy a second car than it is to reset one to default... Kind of a ridiculous system, imo.

I think someone mentioned that buying the new body option doesn't remove the widebody but I'm not sure.

Ah, I was not aware. Thanks for the info, guys. All the more reason to own duplicates!

Yep I looked into it a couple of months back.

Every other mod can be undone with new body or new engine. Just wide body that can't, unfortunately.

There is a new update coming next week that brings 3 new cars. The community is assuming, by the pictures and datamines, that the 3 new cars will be Maserati A6GCS Spider, Porsche 918 Spider and Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette Formula (R30).
There is a big chance the Maserati and the Nissan will be in the LCD, so get your $$$ ready.

This widebody nonsense is sickening. So many of my cars bought early on that can't compete in sport races because widebody is prohibited. Who comes up with these things?

Is the Z432 a good car for racing, or it is more something you wanted to complete the car collection?
I love the car but missed it the last time.

I don't know if it will perform good, I hope so.

Should be an interesting week. GT500 Supra, Alfa 155, Skyline Silhouette. I guess the update will be at the end of the week, to give the F1 and Audi time to vacate the spots for the Maserati and R30.

I'm doing the same, but for some cars I'm actually buying 3 or even more of the same.

There are cars that are engine swappable. For those, namely the ones that get large HP swaps like the Silvia and the cars that get the Nismo Engine and the RX-7 with the 787B engine, I buy like 4 of them.
1 Stock
1 Fully Tuned Normal Engine
1 Fully Tuned Engine Swap
1 Top Speed (no GT Auto widebody or wings) with Engine Swap
1 Top Speed with normal Engine

Thanfully the McLaren F1 doesn't have any engine swaps, but it's still 3 of them I have to buy:
1 Stock
1 Fully Tuned
1 Top Speed

I have 2 of them. So, pretty much about 60 million credits just to have all setups available for the McLaren F1.

For the record I've got nearly 1 million collector points, that's the same as nearly 1 billion credits worth of cars bought/won.

Thank the lords who gave us these exploits. I would be absolutely nowhere near even 1/4 of this with normal gameplay.

I want to buy the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, but then I won't have enough credits to buy the 917 when it shows up. I'm also afraid I won't be able to accumulate enough credits to get it before it disappears, again.

The 917 is the one I want the most, but I'd love to have the Daytona, as well.

I guess two extra slots will be for the "Hot" Skyline and Maserati. That Camaro seems to be there for a lengthy time

I bought 5 911 today. :) 7 now together. Just thinkin should i get 13 more? Then i would get 20 different car for custom race.

The Maserati and Skyline will probably show up the day after the update, just like the Escudo and Ford Roadster.

I hope not

Of those I believe I only have the McLaren F1 and Ford MarkIV.

Anyone that you would recommend as first target for purchase, if one prioritize good and fun Racing before nostalgy?

In my opinion, the best cars in that list (discounting mclaren f1 and ford markIV you already have) would be porsche 917k, ferrari f50, sauber mercedes C9 and Alfa Romeo 155.
Behind those 4 I would put toyota castrol supra and porsche 911 strassenversion.

Don't forget the XJ13 if youre going for the trophy

Xjr13, markIV and 330p4 have a rotation of their own. They come back to the lcd faster than the other entries. I'd be surprised if the markIV and xjr13 came back exactly like the list says.

Just saying it should be here around august 7th. Could be earlier, but I don't expect it to be later.

DLC cars are given extra slots, they do not take up any normal slots.

Spot on, I might add the XJ13 to your second tier. She’s a pretty smooth operator as well.
