In fact apart from a supporting steel frame — common on all builds of this size — it’s almost 100% plastic bricks.

You know, I think it'd be interesting to have a drivable Lego car for racing game.

It'll be slow as heck, and if you hit anything at all, the entire car falls apart and it's game over.

Legos are extremely tough little things.



The steel frame, I believe, is so that it can be moved without putting stress on any particular part of the sculpture itself that might cause the glue to fail due to flexing.
