Has anyone noticed that Lego's suddenly added a bunch of retirement dates this year? I noticed it on 21265, 21044, 21028, 71374, and 40650, all of which I hope to get eventually.

I can't say I've noticed if it's sudden, but they all have retirement dates listed on Brick Tap's retirement date spreadsheet (except for 71374 which was retired at the end of last year) and on each set's page on Rebrickable. In fairness 21044 has been out since 2019 and 21028 since 2016 - they can't sell sets indefinately!

Ugh, thanks for reminding me I don't have forever to get around to buying a Concorde or Ornithopter... I should, but I can't make myself.

On the other hand I "left" my job (at a science museum, which is relevant) and they got me

As a leaving present. Nice! Can't build it yet though, I want to put it on the bookcase in my son's room but he doesn't have a bookcase to put it on.
