Lime Rock Park - Lime Rock Park with elevation.

Lime Rock Park Version 0.3

Release Notes:

  • Changed location from Andalusia #10 to Eifel #3
  • Length is correct at 1.5 miles, however the shape was adjusted to get the illusion of proper elevation.
  • It's not flat, but it's not perfect. I tried to get the "feel" right as best as possible.
  • Turns 2-4 dip down too much and West Bend is somewhat blind over a crest.
  • Curbs were added but will need tweaking after recon laps. Version 0.4 will have this...

I'm very happy to announce this update. Thanks to the great GT community we have, @PR1VATEJ0KER, @Razerman, @eran0004, @tarnheld, @Mr Grumpy and anyone else who has pushed the development of the TPE, without you guys this wouldn't have been possible.

Looks great! There are a couple of corners where the banking transition isn't smooth, is that on purpose or is it something you want to fix?

Something I want to fix yes, the first 2 for sure. I haven't looked into the banking transition yet, hopefully it'll be a simple fix. The third I'll probably just make a bit less as it seems like there is a bump there irl.

Thanks for all the work you've been doing on this one. Limerock is my home track, I've been to numerous races there and it's great to finally be able to play it on a game.

Thanks for the response, I'm glad to be able to recreate this track with some decent accuracy. It's a ton of fun to drive. I'll be looking to make a few minor tweaks here and there but the core of the track is a finished product. Please rate it if you like it, and let me know if there is anything you think I can improve since you've been there.

Lime Rock Park Version 1.7 Final

Release Notes:

  • Addition of tents to give the track a race weekend feel. Also a few other scenery updates.
  • Change of physical location to get the interior of the track to match the real life topography slightly better.
  • Added curbing in small patches to emulate marker boards on the lead up to turn 1.
Future Updates:
  • Addition of the layout with the uphill chicane as used by IMSA.
