Just got a 55.009 cheers for the help gonna try adjust the suspension a bit more.

Downforce rear down to minimum 5

Weight 872 ballast 140 all the way to the rear 53/47 weight distribution

Power up to 173bhp and 20.6 torque

And changed 5th gear to 1.004:1 to get a bit more on the straight now just at the end of the straight at 111mph

Gonna go for 54 seconds now.

For 100 credits you can remove the rear wing completely and free up a few more PP, meaning a few less kg of ballast and an extra tenth or two per lap.

Day late and dollar short as the saying goes but the Daihatsu Cuore is the same as the Mira. If anyone wants one send me a message here and an invite on PSN (same username both places) Have problems with PSN not liking my connection so might take me a bit to respond there.

I noticed the Mira having a bit more horsepower after all the upgrades and then limiting the power to fit the 420pp restrictions. This was a fact for me.

IMHO, I just like the Mira more in my experiences with it and I feel I ran better laps also. Maybe it is just psychological with me who knows, though.

I'll check it out. Haven't actually upgraded any of the Mira's I've got in the garage yet. Thinking though that its probably just a case of how many original miles each had on them and whether you did an engine overhaul on both.

According to the description they are identical cars. The Cuore name is what Daihatsu used for the car outside Japan, while Mira was the name used for Japanese domestic sales.

That's a good lap time. I usually run 58-59s in my Cervo. Easy as heck to drive.

Ok on your car and money thing. Trophy is for 10M, not 20, so easier to get. Second, make sure you clean out the OCD for the hot cars at half price. Third, win level tickets (it the 1000 tickets) to get the big dollar cars instead of paying full price. Lastly, make sure you don't buy a car you can win. One of the high value Ford GTs is a prize car.

Yes, we do. That's why I mostly drive the cheap, realistic type of cars you see sometimes. Japanese 80s and 90s cars are my favorite. Most recently I've been obsessed with the '86 MR2 Supercharged and the Mazda AZ-1.

nice1... actually, it IS weird with GT5, when you step back and drive a low power car, it's still great fun. The tuning up of a low spec car is just as much fun as for a LMR car. More so sometimes :-) - maybe thats why there're so many versions available of the lowend vehicles. The longevity of this "toy" is amazing. Im really going to town at the moment collecting cars. Great fun. Each one is a new surprise. This new hi-cash version of the game is giving it a new lease of life - certainly for me anyhow!

PS... The Online Events are great for this, tempting you with hi cash payouts for seemingly dull races. Like the K cup - brilliant. Or the old-timer specific races!

PPS Will check out the cars you mention and give them a blast :-)

Well, after messing around a bit, I found that the Cuore and Mira are fairly close with lap times after running them quite a bit the past few day. I guess the only reason the Mira had more power was, as you said, lower miles: 8700 mi for Mira vs 27,000 mi for Cuore.

Even with the power disadvantage on the Cuore, I still was running comparable lap times with the Mira. I guess you could chalk it up to the weight advantage the Cuore has when you restrict both of them to the 420 pp limit. The Cuore has a 40kg advantage in that aspect.

I just posted my Cuore setup in the tuning forum. Send me a message here and a friend request on PSN if you want to take it for a test drive. Just let me know if you want to try it in the Lightweight K cup races so I can swap the proper shared car, current share is unrestricted.

Haven't had a chance to do a full modification of a Mira yet but did notice that there was a slight difference even after performing an engine overhaul in the max PP of my 3 fully modified Cuore's.

Again if anyone wants a Cuore let me know as I still have a couple of unmodified ones (I buy them every time they show up in my UCD love these cars!)
