Nice list man! Great job!

I noticed that you've missed one from 1994: Nissan silvia, the premium model. Not trying to point out errors, just thought you might want to know. :)

No, you are not pointing out errors, there is a reason why I wrote "If you find a mistake or something missing then just let me know" ;)
However there is no premium Nissan Silvia from 1994. In fact none of Nissan Silvia models are from 1994.

Good thing this got pinned. 👍
One correction, VW Schwimmwagen has ",44" instead of '44. Just a small error but it cought my eye, OCD, what else.
Great list and so useful. Well done.

Maybe I skimmed over it, but when exactly should I be getting my Level 12 ticket (or 5, or 9 for that matter)? I'm currently at level 12 a-spec and running in the level 12 races, but I figured I should've seen one of these 3 tickets by now...

i missed my birthday thanks to sony's massive 🤬 up , but good work anyway . Thanks for sharing .

I was told by someone in GTP that a 1997 ticket can give you the FTO Super Touring Car... haven't tested this for myself though...

If someone could confirm this maybe we can add it to the list :)

Not as exciting as I was hoping for.

Ferrari 512BB '76
Volkswagen Golf I GTI '76

Very useful list, kudos!

However, I suspect quite a few of the cars listed are not available from Birthday cards despite having a year associated with their name in the game.

For instance:

GSD
1984 (3 cars)
Ford RS200 '84
Mitsubishi STARION 4WD Rally Car '84
Nissan SKYLINE HT 2000 RS-X Turbo C (R30) '84

The 1984 Birthday ticket is an easy test, as there are only three '84 cars in the game, but you'll find even if you redeem a 1984 ticket a hundred times, you'll never get the Nissan.

So besides all the cars that have no year in their name, some cars that do have a year in their name as displayed in the game also are not available via a B'day ticket.

I do not have a definitive list of all the "exceptions", but if no one else does, I'll try and work on one when I have time.

Do the b-day tickets still work for high value cars... I was trying to send myself a 1970's ticket to get a Chaparrel 2J, no matter how many times I reload the save, it wont give it to me, then tried to get the 2J with the origional account to see if I could get it at all with the ticket ..... and I got it second time.

Does the value of a ticket reduce when you send it??

As far as I'm aware it's pure luck, I'm 99% sure it's just coincidence that you got it 2nd time on the original account. I've done this kind of thing with a lot of tickets and it seems as random as the odds suggest!! Although whatever car I'm chasing seems to be the last one I get! I guess that's sod's law or just the pain you get for cheating :-)

Update your list remove the cuda from 1971.I have done the birthday trick for a week 5 hours at a time, Trying to earn the cuda. You won't get the cuda as a birthday ticket ever.

Chevy Chevelle (different colors)

Charger R/T 440
Charger 426 Super Bee
Mustang Mach 1

I just tried it myself and I received the Nissan from the '84 ticket after my 3rd try. Either you have VERY bad luck or you get the Nissan only in the euro version.

I already sorted out most of the cars you can't get even if they have a year associated with their name, but I am not 100% sure if I sorted out all of them.

Perhaps it is just the NA edition. All I know for sure is that after well over 100 attempts the only '84 cars that came up were the RS200 and Starion - not a single Skyline. (the irony is not lost BTW) ;)

I would not have even found out about this as I have yet to collect any B'day tickets, but a friend of mine who was experimenting with the whole Bday ticket thing had asked me to test out the '84 ticket for him as he also was unable to ever get the Nissan.

Can you post your list of those exceptions?

I always update the list on the first page as soon as I find a mistake or if a car is missing. Of course I also update the list if someone else finds a mistake, but I doublecheck first if you really can't get a certain car before I change the list.

I never did a list of those exceptions, but I can write a note at the beginning of my list like I did with the Ferrari F10 '10 and add the cars there. You can't get an Art Morrison Corvette'60 for example, but I think it's enough if I just don't add them to the list.

I just double-checked and I received the Cuda from the 1971 ticket after 25 resets. It was actually rather annoying because I received the Nissan 240ZG ten times in a row.

Question about the Gift Ticket you get for "100 Events or over 2000km". I seem to be getting it only for every 100 events. Am I supposed to get it every time I drive an additional 2000km also?

It is a typo in the description, it should be 100 events and 2000km. So you should get a ticket every time you satisfy both of those criteria, then the counters would reset.

Happy birthday to me..(Well in an hour anyway.) Polyphony Digital decided to mark the occasion with a '86 Celica 2000(ST162) "sigh" well at least I'll get to Blackpool in relative style, also my dad's friend had one just like it,same colour too although his was a GT-Four.
