I don't think there is any difference between the two tickets, because you can get the NASCAR cars in it's pool of random cars. There is only one lv 21 ticket. No offense, but please don't refer to that list in the "New Seasonals with update June 7th 11pm EST" topic because that list is a mess.

Well I have both LV 21 tickets, and after redeeming both of them 20 times in a row each, the one I got from completing the Extreme events regularly came up with random NASCAR cars, while the LV 21 ticket from beating the Expert Trial Mountain seasonal event not once did any NASCAR car come up.

And after checking around it appears many people are having the same result and not getting any NASCAR cars with the new LV 21 ticket.

I also thought that maybe there was a difference between the NA and EU versions, so I had robertowjr (from Ireland) send me his new LV 21 ticket, and just like mine, no NASCAR car ever came up in multiple redemptions.

Hmm? The lv 21 ticket I received from the new Fiat 500 seasonal event gives me NASCAR cars. There is no difference to the other lv 21 ticket.
Other people in the "New Seasonals with update June 7th 11pm EST" topic posted the same:

I got the [P] Toyota 2010 Denny Hamlin #11 FedEx TOYOTA CAMRY '10 from a level 21 ticket after winning the Fiat event at Trial Mountain. That doesnt fit with the lists above.

Just sayin....

I can confirm this,
All of the NASCARS are obtainable through the level 21 ticket.

Can you or anyone else send me one of those "weird" lv. 21 tickets?

So for 2011 there's nothing. I mean of course no 3 month old baby is gonna play; as a matter of fact no 3 year would play but that's not the point. Anyways thanks for the post, I really appreciate this :)

To be honest I never tried, but there is no car from 2011 so why should there be a 2011 ticket? I guess you get a 2010 ticket if you set your birthday to 2011.

Hello everybody! I'm new to posting in the forum, having been reading it for a long time.

First of all, let me share the birthday-ticket car I got on May 27th:

Nissan Be-1 '87

An absolute beauty! :) To be fair, it was nice to get it since that would normally not have been a car I would have tought to buy :)

However a weird thing happened afterwards:
My birthday was May 27th, where I got the Be-1. A few days later, I got a message on my GTLife-Profile page saying "Sorry for the delay, here is our late birthday gift to you!" (the message was in german, even though my complete PS3 system is set to english, but I live in Munich). A second birthday-ticket was attached to the message and I got a Nissan Skyline GTS-R (R31)'87.

Did anyone else experience something like that?

You may want to distinguish between the LV 21 ticket you get for completing the Extreme events and the new LV 21 ticket you get for beating the Expert Trial Mountain event, as the new LV 21 ticket does not include any of the NASCAR cars in it's pool of random cars.

Personally, I think the new LV 21 ticket is much better as all the NASCAR cars can be bought and traded easily enough, and so without all those cars, the odds of getting one of the other cars is now much much better.

Unfortunately, visually there is no difference between the two tickets.

Apropos of nothing, in the original version of the game, all the NASCAR stock cars were level 22 cars.

Maybe it's mere coincidence.

With the exception of the X2010s and the stealth/chromeline/edge cars. You'll not get RM versions of cars either. I've never received a level 24 car with one either, but I can't say if that's true for all.

But why isn't there a 1960 ticket?

Why is the banana bent?
No, seriously no one knows except PD. I guess you are after the Art Morrison Corvette'60, but I am afraid you have to buy it, because you won't get it from a ticket.

Same here. I did like 400 resets of the ticket 1000 but I never received any lv. 24 car.

Thank you very much for this super-handy list and keeping it updated ;)

I'm wondering if it would be possible to make a list of rewards for the 1000 ticket?
or is there just too many you can get from that?

This question may be a little bit out of context, but is the Lambo NOMAD DIABLO the rarest car? And do you know the chances of getting each of the cars from the list from each year?

I have gotten several million+ cars with 1000 tickets.... but the pool of random cars for that ticket is so huge that it can take a VERY long time to get the exact car you are looking for.

I think the only cars which are worth resetting the ticket 1000 over and over again are the cars you can't get from any other ticket and which are not prize cars either. I also think those cars are the rarest cars if you have them with 0 miles/km and 0 changes, but that is just my personal opinion. However some of those cars are or were already available with 0 miles/km and 0 changes at the OCD. Here is a list:

Honda INTEGRA TYPE R Touring Car
Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car
Honda S2000 LM Race Car
Mazda Atenza Touring Car
Mazda Mazda6 Touring Car
Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car
Mazda RX-8 Concept LM Race Car
Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car
Nissan 350Z Concept LM Race Car
Subaru IMPREZA Super Touring Car
Toyota RSC Rally Raid Car

Frankly, for me, the 1000 tickets are just nice little bonuses I get from grinding, and I'll only reset it if it's a car I already have, or it's a very low value car. So far I have gotten all of the following cars from 1000 tickets:
  • Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione '08
  • Amuse NISMO 380RS Super Leggera
  • Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo
  • Chevrolet 2010 Juan Montoya #42 Target CHEVROLET IMPALA '10
  • Ford Escort Rally Car '98
  • Ford GT (No Stripe) '05
  • Ford GT40 Race Car '69
  • HKS GENKI HYPER SILVIA RS2 '04
  • Honda DUALNOTE Concept '01
  • Isuzu 4200R Concept '89
  • Jaguar XJ13 Race Car '66
  • Jaguar XJ220 '92
  • Lexus ENEOS SC430 '08
  • Lotus Carlton '90
  • Lotus Esprit Sport 350 '00
  • Mercedes-Benz CLK 55 AMG '00
  • Mitsubishi CZ-3 Tarmac '01
  • Nissan CALSONIC SKYLINE GT-R Race Car '93
  • Nissan Fairlady Z 300ZX (Z31) '83
  • Nissan SKYLINE GT-R V•spec II (R34) '00
  • Nissan XANAVI NISMO GT-R '03
  • Opera Performance S2000 '04
  • Pescarolo Courage - Judd GV5 Race Car '04
  • Suzuki ESCUDO Dirt Trial Car '98
  • Toyota 2000GT '67
  • Toyota RSC '01

I am a big fan of driving cars in GT5 in their stock condition, but to this day I still don't get the obsession over 0/0 cars. Not only are these just virtual cars, but a 0/0 car means it hasn't even reached it's maximum untuned performance level from having the engine "broken in" - which takes about 200km or so.

Also, if someone is so obsessive about keeping their cars at 0/0, then they'll never be able to use any of those cars without having to create a different account and constantly switching out cars from the sharing list. Seems like a lot of effort just to drive cars that aren't even at their maximum untuned performance level.. :odd:

The whole 0/0 thing is still quite bizarre to me... especially the 0 switches, I just don't get it. Seems borderline OCD to me, but maybe that's just me.

On the other hand I can certainly understand the desire to have different liveries of cars, especially ones you can't get through the paint option. So as far as that list goes though, the cars that I would consider rare and worth keeping an eye out for are:
  • Honda INTEGRA TYPE R Touring Car
    • #31 Blue
    • #31 Red
    • #31 Yellow

  • Honda S2000 LM Race Car
    • #30/33 Blue
    • #30/33 Purple
    • #30/33 Red

  • Mazda RX-7 LM Race Car
    • #00 Black
    • #07 Blue
    • #10 Yellow
    • #26 Orange
    • #30 Red
    • #37 Grey
    • #93 Green
    • #202 White

  • Mitsubishi FTO Super Touring Car
    • #1 Green
    • #2 Black
    • #3 White
    • #4 (MIA)
    • #5 Grey/Carbon
    • #6 Red
    • #7 Yellow
    • #8 Blue

  • Subaru IMPREZA Super Touring Car
    • #57 Silver
    • #77 White
    • #87 Red
    • #97 Black
I still wouldn't advise anyone to constantly collect and reset 1000 tickets to try and get them - as that could easily take several days just to collect multiple tickets, and then countless hours of resetting.

Instead, keep an eye on the UCD, and when they pop up, they almost always have low mileage (0-5,000km) and if you have to have the car in it's original state, you can always rebuild the engine and chassis. Not only that, but you'll also have a car that's broken in and running at it's intended maximum performace level. 👍

Why would I want a car which was used already if I can have a new one? That doesn't make any sense to me. Neither in a videogame nor in real life. I want to run in the engine and customize it the way I want it.
Even worse, why would a collector collect used cars with changes? If you get a car with changes then you don't even know what the changes are, the cars might not even have it's original colour anymore. That would lower its value in real life and the same counts for GT5. I always have two versions of each car, one for driving and one for my 0/0 collection. Well, again that is just my personal opinion, but I don't know why it is bizarre if you rather want something new than used. Just sounds weird to me.

I already pointed out the reasons. A low mileage used car or even high mileage with an engine/chassis rebuild in GT5 performs better without any tuning mods than any 0/0 car... not to mention the fact that if for some strange reason you want to keep your car at 0/0 the only way to do that and use it is to use a dif account and share it each time... or as you have said, collect duplicates of the exact same car, one to drive (which makes perfectly good sense) and one to just sit there (which makes no sense to me at all)... again, it's not the real world where an untouched car has a real momentary value and in many cases can be a very good investment... but this is a game!

Not only that, but a used car can often be gotten much faster than trying to get it at 0/0.

These are all reasonable reasons to not obsess over 0/0/ cars.

The question is what value is it to have a 0/0 car in GT5 and what value is it to keep it at 0/0?

GSD
I want to run in the engine and customize it the way I want it.

In GT5 you can't run in an engine any differently, its strictly mileage based. A used car in GT5 will already be broken in from the start, a 0/0 car is not.

GSD
Even worse, why would a collector collect used cars with changes? If you get a car with changes then you don't even know what the changes are, the cars might not even have it's original colour anymore. That would lower its value in real life and the same counts for GT5.

I think you lost me here. We are talking about a game for one, not real life, but in both cases, the stock condition and paint is easy to confirm. Not only that, but no car in any dealership in GT5 has been modified from stock nor do any of them come with non stock paint jobs.

If you are talking about trading online, I never even brought that up, but just like in real life, you can check the car out before trading by having them share it first. In fact, you have to do that anyway in order to confirm if the car you are trading is a 0/0.

The point I thought I was making fairly clearly is why bother obsessing over 0/0 cars in the first place?

GSD

I think you are confusing the real world for the virtual one. After all, visually, in GT5 there is no difference between a stock used car (with a car wash) and a 0/0 car. Performance wise, a stock used car in GT5 will perform better than it's 0/0 counterpart with nothing more than an oil change. So I'm not sure why you find that weird.

So basically what it sounds like is that you collect new cars in a virtual game that you never use, just to say you have them new and have never even turned the ignition on? Yeah, I don't get that at all.

BTW: I'm not saying you shouldn't be able to collect 0/0 cars and never even use them... I just find it really bizarre, as there is no benefit in the game to do that. They don't look any better and they don't perform any better.... in fact without a broken in engine and oil change they perform worse.

You may be on to something. In the same way that I also have a 1984 ticket that only has the Ford RS200 '84 and Mitsubishi STARION 4WD Rally Car '84, and despite countless resets, it has never given out a Nissan SKYLINE HT 2000 RS-X Turbo C (R30) '84.

All I know for sure is I have two LV 21 tickets, one that includes NASCAR cars and one that doesn't, and the LV 21 ticket that robertowjr sent me also doesn't include any NASCAR cars.

I can send you it, but I am using my daily car send to fill my son's garage, so if you send him a car I'll be happy to send you the ticket, that way he isn't missing his daily gift car. I'll check his garage and see what he could use sooner rather than later.

If not, you could always contact robertowjr, and ask him to send you his LV 21 ticket.

'67 b-day ticket question: Can anyone confirm that they have received a ''Mazda Cosmo sport 110 '67'' from this ticket?

i have tried (over the course of 2-3 days) at least 2hrs worth of resets without any luck.

Maybe i'm wasting my time? Trying for that particular car, that is...lol
thanks guys

EDIT: yeah i finally got it, after 100 freakin' resets!

No, I find it weird if someone thinks that people who likes new stuff are bizarre.
Yep, I might be confused the real world for the virtual one. Well, doesn't it say "The Real Driving Simulator" on the game box? All jokes aside, trust me it's a collectors thing and you don't have to understand it. Some people just like new stuff (virtual or real) and I think it's weird if I have to explain why. Fact is many people want the cars with 0/0 and they all must have a reason, if you like it or not.
Used cars are worth nothing in my opinion and I started to delete all the cars with milage (want some? ^^) because I want a collection with only 0/0 cars. I only need a handful of cars to drive with so why should I keep all this used garbage in my garage? Again, you don't have to understand it, you just have to accept it. ^^

I can send you it, but I am using my daily car send to fill my son's garage, so if you send him a car I'll be happy to send you the ticket, that way he isn't missing his daily gift car. I'll check his garage and see what he could use sooner rather than later.

OK, I have all cars and all tickets. Just let me know what you want and I send it to you. I also have lots of 0/0 cars just in case you changed your mind about the 0/0 cars and you also want a decent collection of cars and not only used garbage in your garage. jk ;)
